Ladies I am getting tired of my sandy brown hair sometimes it looks so dry. I want to dye it one shade darker, a dark brown so the color will be more uniform and have more shine. IS IT SAFE TO DYE DARKER? Any tips will be appreciated, I want no damage and no set back. TIA!

Why dont you do a semi-permanent color? (A rinse) There will be no chemicals or damage, and if you're not happy with the outcome, it can be washed out. It is LESS damaging to dye your hair darker, but still damaging because of the chemicals. HTH =]

SO is semi-permanent less damaging or not damaging at all, just need a little clarification. I am of course hair obsessed and want no damage or else I won't do it. thanx
