I used to be on the borderline of 2b and 4 but more of a 2b....well my smart but didn't think while i was soaking up the rays to get a nice even tan my hair color was going to change.

Now all the hair weaves, ponytail and 3/4 wigs serve no use to me now:( That sucks.

I feel your pain! My 1b bun and pony don't match after my Jamaica vacation. The relaxer/sun combo is torture...

Now i have to start all over...stupid questions but I wonder if my hair is going to stay the new color it is or will it revert back:confused:

it happens to all of us at some time or another. my hair got a lot darker when i started taking care of it. now it's been getting lighter cause i've been in the sun a lot lately.

Hair, like everything else can change with prolonged sun exposure. I had to start adding sunscreen on my hair to keep it from turning so fast. So if you can't cover with a hat, add a little suncreen.

You can always do a rinse and bring you hair back to one color.

That happens a lot! My hair went from a 1b to a 4 during the beginning of my growth process. now you can tell the difference. If you want your hair to match you ponytails, may I suggest a rinse? Try one w/o ammonia or peroxide. They're very mild. Even henna would work.

is there sunsreen for hair?
