What is hair banding and how do you do it? If you have pics can you please post for a visual... thanks so much in advance.

You just put your hair in however many ponytails you want and apply bands down the length (about 1 inch apart). I usually do 2 ponytails.http://public.fotki.com/Pokahontas/natural-hair/another_way_to_air-dry/

Pokahantas, what kind of Denman brush do you use and why do you recommend. I am very curious. I think of Denman brushes as being quite expensive - like $100. I need a good recommendation before I spend that much. TIA

Sorry to answer for Poka, but Denman brushes are not $100 (thank goodness!). I think I paid $7 for mine, give or take.

Lol, mine was $7.99. They aren't that expensive and it's a high quality brush. I use it mostly for enhancing my curls when doing wash n' go's. They are great for curl definition or for smoothing out the hair.
