Okay...after all the threads about Chi Silk Infusion I decided to go run out and buy some. And whew! Lucky me! I picked up the LAST bottle! So right now I'm pre-pooing, getting ready to wash and all that other stuff. But I'm not even sure how to use this product. I now do "banding" overnight before flat-ironing, so I wasn't sure whether I should put the product on when it's wet...while I'm banding so it can airdry that way, or should I put the product on after I'm done airdrying and getting ready to flat-iron?? Thanks in advance ladies!! :spinning:

You should use it as a leave in on wet hair. Usually I would use my creamy leave in first. then use the Silk infusion 5 minutes later on wet hair. It does not work as well on dry hair. If you are air drying, I would suggest that you comb your hair half way through drying and 3/4 way through drying. that will help your hair to dry straight like a you blow dried it.

Good luck.

I think either way is fine. I'd try it on wet hair first, and if you feel like you want a couple more drops after it dries before flat ironing you can do that too.

Good luck, and post pics :D

I just used this last night after I rollerset. I love this stuff!

I used it on my dry hair and smoothed it on my hair and then wrapped it and today, I added some more after I took my wrap down....my hair is soft and shiny and dh is ga-ga over the smell.

It did not weigh my fine hair down one bit...and I'm natural.

I guess like Keen says, you can use it on your damp hair, but try a small amount afterwards and see how you like it.

That is how I usually use mine. Works like a charm

For me it works well on dry and wet hair, this is how I use it.

1. When roller setting or blow drying (rare use), I put a spray leave in, a little creamy leave in and depending on the length, thickness of hair a quarter size in wet hair.

2. Dry hair a nickel or dime size amount on hair, first ends then though out hair to curl or flat iron.
