Ok yall...I think 5mg of biotin a day is making my hair shed like a wet rabid dog...Its scaring me, so I stopped taking it today.

Another attack of the biotin!

Biotin did me justice tho. But I have read here ladies experiencing shedding. I would stop too.

Hey Poohbear I love your twists too but I bet that shrunken fro is a lot easier. If I looked as cute as you do with a shrunken fro I would wear one all the time.

Dang! I misplaced my good scarf. The big square one that I make into a triangle. So I had to use the long rectangle stretchy one. And since I'm in cornrows right now, I tied the joker on too tight. erplexed erplexed erplexed

I just now go a headache and took it off. I feel better already. I must be sleepy.

Don't even get me started! It seems as if all of my scarves are disappearing. I have cute ones for sporting out and other ones for wearing to bed, and I can't find the ones for bed to save my life. Ugh!

I'm going to buy like 6 of them next time I go to the store.

And yes, I've been known to tie a little too tight and have to pull on the knot to loosen it up.

Im here. I was thinking about getting a weave but now I think I will get a few instant weaves that way I can wash my hair really well when I need to.

Yep, all the time. No matter how loose it is I get a headache...I must have some really sensitive pressure points cuz I feel like some has a death grip on my head

I miss the bss in Los Angeles...esp. one called C&J (or something like that). I like a bss that has every item in almost every conceivable product line...all neatly lined up.

I also like dark sorta skanky ones that have all sorts of hidden treasures or underpriced stuff. Once I scored a BIG bottle of Kemi-Oyl for 9.99. They really didn't know what they had.

Last random thought... this marks my 16th year natural and when I tell folks that, they expect me to have braids to the floor. I have to explain that I've been a committed cutter for much of that time, but just imagine how much hair I WOULD have had I not cut.

Well, the old MnH was good, but then they changed the formula and my hair can tell. But I use it in moisture mixes so it does the job right.

But I thought I read here that is is discontinued?

Im scared..... now that i THINK ive decided to start doing my own hair. Ive gotten so dependent on those dern Dominicans! erplexed Now its time to be a big girl and take off the training wheels, i guess.

I havent Henna'ed in a minute...... i gotta get back into my routine! I loved what it did for my hair!

Just got a touch-up today.......... cant wait to wash and DC next week.... my hair always looks so much better once ive washed after a touch-up!

ooooohhh, so you're going to start taking matters back into your own hands again?! Good for you!! I feel liberated being able to do my own hair. I just did my own touch up after a 7 year break...I felt GOOD and I didn't burn my hair off!!
