HI, Locs of Love! I am on...i have no life, apparently...

but i just got done putting my pre-poo in my hair and was thinking, does anyone go to the "white" salons to get their hair trimmed?[/quote]

I'm thinking about going to Best Cuts to get a trim...I'm scared though, they butchered me at a Mastercuts once a long time ago. :perplexed

By the way, starting this Sunday Rite Aid has a sale on all Suave 15 oz shampoos and conditioners - .89 each!!! I'm definitely gonna stock up on the conditioners!!!

Its a big frizzy mess. :( I really think JBCO is the culprit. I was not having these problems until I started using it. It has thickened my hair exponentially in a very short amount of time, but it causes my scalp to itch really bad and disrupts my curl pattern for days. For some reason the entire bottom half of my hair. like have way down my length to the ends seems to be way more frizzy t hen the top half. Very weird. I am going to DC tomorrow.

GIIIIIIIIRRRRL, that JBCO made my hair, hard, sticky, my scalp was itching, and my hair was breaking. I made a thread about it a while ago (I used to use JBCO in a moisture mix) and someone pointed it out ot me (thank god). I had to clarify and make a new moisture mix and start over.

I would clarify, and stop using it for a while and see if that is the culprit.

I want to deep condition my hair tonight and tomorrow I wanna wear it out, I have some new gel I want to try out. But I'm too lazy to wash it, not to mention deep condition. I want to be pretty for mother's day, but I'm too lazy to do the work:(:look:. Will one of ya'll come over here and do my hair for me? Pretty please...

OMG, you have gray streaks. Oh my goodness it is the prettiest thing ever! Please don't color them (I know you probably aren't thinking about it).

I can't wait to blowfry my hair in 3 weeks! I haven't done it in so long! I'm excited about the dryer I ordered on amazon-- got it on sale for $20!

And I'll FINALLY be able to really use my maxiglide. I used it on everybody else but myself.

i am scared too! i need my ends trimmed...and i really don't know how to go about it.

here is the delimma:

1) i am more than 12 weeks post (trying to do a 12 mos stretch) and my hair is looking very au'natural about the roots

2) i am not using heat until 2008

so how can i really trust anyone to trim until i do either one of those?

Sorry to hear that. Try clarifying and then DC :yep:

Yeah I think I will do that. I clarified yesterday but still no go. I may have to clarify again.

It seems to have reverted all the benefits of my phyto textlax. It shrinks way more now and my hair texture is tighter. If I didnt know any better I would swear that stuff had a chemical reaction with my scalp and hair.:perplexed

Im here. I was thinking about getting a weave but now I think I will get a few instant weaves that way I can wash my hair really well when I need to.

What kind of clarifier did you use? It may have not been strong enough. Also did you use the JBCO (jamaican black castor oil for Cleve) after you clarified?

 I think a band of LHCF women are going to be hunting me down with shotguns if I don't make this update happen. :lachen: It's on my list.

Thank you!!

I would go for the instant weave so you can wash you own hair.

Nexxus Aloe Rid, nope no JBCO after I clarified.

It was in my pre poo tho, I wasn't using the clarifier to get rid of the jbco at that point, and I was trying to give it another try diluted with the lekair cholesterol , and it still went havoc on my hair.

Look for a full unopen bottled to show up on the porduct exchange forum any day now.
