Flat Ironing and Henna

I have been using a neutral henna for conditioning purposes and I have been really happy with the results however since i co wash and wet bun 250% of the time I have not noticed the effects it has when I flat iron my hair. Does anyone know of any effects that henna has on your hair when its flat ironed? TIA

As long as you use a good heat protectant (and step up your conditioning) you should be fine.

I would just watch out for your moisture balance..make sure your hair doesn't dry out with the heat use. Henna tends to make my hair a little dry..that's why I might have to switch back to my beloved Cellophanes for my hair bling! when I start using heat again.

I did my henna treatment either monday or tuesday, kept my hair moisturized all week, then I flat ironed today.
