Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding. My $1.99 hair gel does the same thing.

aveda, nexxus, kerastase, bumble & bumble, ojon, frederic fekkai, kiehls, keracare, miss jessie's ... those are the ones i can think of off the top of my head -- mostly marketing & hype when you look at the real ingredients compared to the price.
Chile' Imma Beat You Down! Git Out of Here Naming 3/4th's of my Favorite Stuff.
Woooow! I thought Aveda was natural! I've been thinking about purchasing it, too. Oh wellaveda, nexxus, kerastase, bumble & bumble, ojon, frederic fekkai, kiehls, keracare, miss jessie's ... those are the ones i can think of off the top of my head -- mostly marketing & hype when you look at the real ingredients compared to the price. for example aveda: http://thebeautybrains.com/2008/06/13/is-aveda-really-more-natural/ Aveda ingredient list (as taken from Drugstore.com) Aqueous Purified Water Extracts: Camellia Sinensis Extract, Citrus Aurantium Amara Peel Extract (Bitter Orange), Astragalus Root (Membranaceus) Extract (Milk Vetch), Schizandra Chinensis Fruit Extract, Pinus Tabulaeformis Bark Extract (Pine), Vitis Vinifera Seed Extract (Grape), Sedum Rosea Root Extract, Rehmannia Chinensis Root Extract, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Lauramidopropyl Betaine, Cinnamidopropyltrimonium Chloride, Quaternium 80, PEG 7 Dimethicone C8-C18 Ester, Babassuamidopropyl Betaine, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Amyl Salicylate, Amyl Cinnamate, Lycopene, Lecithin, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Tocopherol, Sucrose Palmitate, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Glycol Stearate, Glycol Distearate, Polyglyceryl 10 Oleate, Polyquaternium 7, Fragrance, Cistus Ladaniferus Oil, Glycerin, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Propylparaben, Methylparaben, Methylisothiazolinone, Methylchloroisothiazolinone the real deal -- ingredients list broken down: Water, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Lauramidopropyl Betaine, Cinnamidopropyltrimonium Chloride, Quaternium 80, PEG 7 Dimethicone C8-C18 Ester, Babassuamidopropyl Betaine, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Glycol Stearate, Glycol Distearate, Polyglyceryl 10 Oleate, Polyquaternium 7, Fragrance, Glycerin, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Propylparaben, Methylparaben, Methylisothiazolinone, Methylchloroisothiazolinone
Keracare Humecto - might as well have "deep conditioned" with water erplexed
Mostly anything by John Frieda fits this list for me.
lol, i'm just saying ... read the ingredients. i have nothing against high end products with high prices if they delivery in quality ingredients & results.
now if these are working for your hair -- do you -- but i'm just saying know what you're really purchasing.
Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment - Cost $55
This is a huge rip off. The ingredients are :Elaeis Oleifera (American Oil Palm), Fragrance, Lecithin(a phospholipid and emollient mainly derived from common egg yolk or soybeans), Tocopherol (Vitamin E) , Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C) , Citric Acid (Another form of Vitamin C), Serenoa Serrulata(Saw Palmetto), Prunus Africana (Pygeum Bark, also called Red Stinkwood or African Cherry).
None of the ingredients are rare or special. This product smells awful. This is solidified American Palm Oil. American Palm Oil can be purchased at any health food store for about $3 a jar. Basically this a $55 hot oil treatment.
Thanks for this little tidbit! I was actually going to look for the Ojon RHT this morning when I got to work. I'm so glad I saw this post!:notworthy
I am not being rude but John Frieda products are that expensive. Aren't they like $5.99 and they worked for me but I am not dazzled by it.

Yeah, I was using MOP for a minute there, and it's not really worth $17 for a conditioner. If you like Giovanni's, it's cheaper and is still organic. MOP made my hair feel sticky and hard.
I liked it at first, but after awhile, I realized it wasn't the greatest.
Phyto Organics Theratin Extreme Moisture Shampoo = Nexxus Therappe
Phyto Organics Humectin Extreme Moisture Conditioner = Nexxus Humectress
As far as I'm concerned this is already a bait and switch.
I got the Phyto poo and con for six dollas and some change but they retail at twenty something a pop. I get the same results from Nexxus products as I do from dollar VO5/Suave type products. What's weird is that Nexxus products come out of the bottle feeling very thick and rich, but once they go on my hair it's like the consistency changes to water. Definitely not worth the price.

Keracare Humecto can kiss my entire ***. I've used 2 full bottles of Keracare on both relaxed and natural hair. I've used it as a regular conditioner and a deep conditioner and it came up all kinda short.
And they can kick rocks talking about the new 'just like the tub' formula for the 8 oz bottles. GTFOOHWTBS! They done got all the money they getting outta me.
