I kinda got distracted over the holidays, hopefully my hair hasn't suffered too much
. Guess I will know when I relax in a few weeks. I'm not stretching as long this time cuz I wanna be cute for spring break mid-March
.
Caribbean, how did your trim go?[/quote]
Yeah ,Caribbean how was your trim?
Thanks for your concern
silver and
mariposa, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your support.
Well, I tried calling a non-scissor happy stylist that
tallone in the salon discussion section referred me to. She had such an attitude from the min I was on the phone with her. She didn't even reveal that I was speaking to her until I clarified why I wanted to speak to her.
Ok this is going to be a little long- sorry in advance:
Anyway she said she does not "trim soiled hair." I explained to her that my hair was not dirty and it was already straightened practically bone straight, I just wanted to get a slight trim. She said I would need to get my hair done by her in order for her to trim it. I said I don't even let my own stylist wash my hair, which is true. I am such a
firm believer in washing my hair the crown and glory method. I don't even let my stylist detangle my hair. (The days of me sitting and letting people rip my hair out with a comb at the sink are so over. I usually go to my stylist with my hair saturated and detangled in conditioner, all she has to do is rinse it out and start blowdrying. ) She said " So you would let me trim your hair but not wash your hair?" I said, "Yes that is correct." I thanked her for her time and hung up. I don't have time for this mess. Come to find out, she doesn't even wash and blowdry your hair, they have shampoo girls who do it!
So to sum it all up, I decided
not to get a trim, just suck it up and see what happens end of this summer. I talked to a few of my friends and they said that my ends weren't that horrific and to just wing it out until my hair gets a little longer.
But come the end of this summer I am SURE i will need someone to trim my hair, and I will have to go through all this stress again. I think I might just let my stylist do it. sigh.
