I need to know how in the world do you get your sew-ins to last 14 n 16 weeks! When i wear the straight sew-ins, it only get about 6 weeks out of it and i pay like $60-$80 bucks for the hair! I need this to last longer than that for that amount. Do you not wash it as often? Let me know PLEASE

I think the answer to your question is in your question. Her sew-ins are usually curly/nautral. That hair type is a little more forgiving than straight hair. So if there are areas that has gotten disturbed through its use, it is not as noticeable as when wearing straight hair.

Let's see what Ediese says. Just giving you a litle bump.

and your a def right about that. I love my curly weaves.. they come out so pretty and last longer... if i don't wash it as much

I was casually browsing through this forum, and I see my name in the title. lol

I think the ladies above gave you the answer. I've always been able to keep my extensions between 3 or even 4 months if I choose. The quality of hair definitely matters, and the skills of the stylist that installs it. I get long wear with straight hair too. My last install was with straight hair, and I kept it for 14 weeks. I really take care of the hair, kinda treat it like my own real because of the price I pay for it.

Oh yea, I do wash between 1-2 weeks. With curly hair, I wash every week and cowash in between too. HTH

OP, you'd need to buy a better quality hair to get it to last that long. Plus the curly hair doesn't look as old as fast as straight. Especially when it matches your texture. There's no new growth showing or obviously mismatched leave out.

Also, you have to stay on top of maintenance. I ususally to go to the shop every 2-4 weeks (depending on the style) for maintenance if I plan to wear my weave for longer than 8 weeks.
