I've used no-lye for almost a year now and I love it. I use Profectiv-regular and I'm sticking with it until they stop making it. :lol:

You do have to be extra diligent w/ moisturizing and such, but it's worth if it your hair doesnt respond well to lye. I use Creamy Aloe Shampoo to remove any calcium build-up.
 
im a no lye fiend :grin: i tried lye once and it did nothing for my hair my hair was poofy and undersprocessed even after leaving it on for a loooong time other no lyes dont make my hair feel and look good that is dark and lovely :nono: im using ors which is spot on but after eyeing that elasta qp...i hate beign a pj :look:
 
I love no-lye relaxers too! I've never ever used anything but a no-lye! It doesn't dry out my ends...I love my no-lye and that's no lie! haha :lachen:super corny I know!

I've been have relaxing/texlaxing with no-lye and I have always maintained pretty healthy hair. Yes, my ends were dry when I first started to relax but once I educated myself more on hair health (and with lhcf) I learned how to keep those ends moisturized and retain length.
