I've used no-lye for almost a year now and I love it. I use Profectiv-regular and I'm sticking with it until they stop making it.
You do have to be extra diligent w/ moisturizing and such, but it's worth if it your hair doesnt respond well to lye. I use Creamy Aloe Shampoo to remove any calcium build-up.

i tried lye once and it did nothing for my hair my hair was poofy and undersprocessed even after leaving it on for a loooong time other no lyes dont make my hair feel and look good that is dark and lovely
im using ors which is spot on but after eyeing that elasta qp...i hate beign a pj
