I bling bling baby. It doesn't matter whether it is relaxed or my transitioning state, it shines. I don't drink water all that often, so I don't know what to attribute it to.

Henna
ACV + shikaira as a rinse
Elucence elixir
Coconut oil
EVOO

All four together gives incredible or individually.

My hair shines pretty well on its own; but it really shines if I seal it with coconut oil.

My hair is shining better now that I'm using John frieda's Clear Glaze shine booster, adding more protein treatments on it, and because I no longer use no-lye relaxers. I noticed too that the part of my hair that doesn't shine so much is the old part of my hair from when I was using no-lye relaxers:nono:. Good thing I know better for my hair now:yep:.

The only time my hair shines naturally is after I use Henna, I can also get some shine when I use my Profectiv product..

Since taking better care of my hair, and drinking more water I was beginning to have a nice natural shine, but after using Color Showers, my shine is like PoW! in your eye! Love that stuff.

Very shiny after flat ironing. I don't know how to do it though and I don't get it flat ironed very often. Also shiny after a rollerset.

My hair shines, especially when I do braidouts. When I do rollersets, the shine's even more... I really can't tell what the reason is - is it mixing all my DCs with oils? Is it mixing oils in my moisturisers? Is it henna? No clue.

I remember when I religiously prepoo'd with amla and vatika oils, a braidout I did was almost blinding in the pictures I took, lol.

My hair naturally shines w/ no oils etc added to it. I can wash my hair, condition it, add a leave in.. and it just shines. I didn't really pay it much attention until my friends brought it to my attention.

My hair shines again now that I switched back to a Lye Relaxer. That no-lye had my hair looking :barf:. A good setting lotion gives it a shine boost as well.
