Do You "WATER" Your Hair???

I know many women on this board have hair that LOVES water but I just wanted to find out how many....

At beginning of my hair journey, I washed once a week, but now I actually wash 2x a week (1 co-wash & 1 shampoo wash) and even when I don't wash I'll take a cup of water and spread my hair apart and gently "water" my scalp, when my hair is clean its sooooooooooooooooo happy & it grows like wildfire, and contrary to popular belief my hair LOVES cones, so I have to keep it watered & clean regularly, I water it about 1x every 2 days. Do YOU WATER YOUR HAIR? Does your hair love H2O or does it cringe at the thought of water?

I have a water bottle filled with mineral water and I spray it on my braided hair.

My hair craves water. I co-wash every other day, but on the days that I don't co-wash, I at least spray it down to wet it.

I spritz with water throughout the week but I can't wash/co wash more than 2 times max. While my hair loves water its hatred of over manipulation cancels that out.

now that I'm newly natural and wearing a TWA, water is my bestest friend. its the only thing that really 'wakes' my hair up and after wetting it, I love how soft my hair is. I don't know if I will *need* water as much after my hair gets longer...but I'm enjoying cowashing and just randomly wetting my hair now.

Yep, my hair gulps it down. I CW at least 4-5 times a week. I spritz water and conditioner on my hair twice a day.

My hair loves it. I don't because my hair fights me even more when it's wet. I prefer it damp because it is more easy to part. I do my twists wet and redo them when they dry.

Me too! If its out I'll spray with water n condish mix before braiding for bed. I'm in braids, I cowash often (about twice a wk with the colder weather) but if no CW, I rinse or spritz n seal on a daily. My hair water!!

Water lover here too! Depending on how my hair is styled my hair gets moisture from a steamy shower or a full rinse in the shower.

i only wash really once a week, and i dont really co-wash anymore, but my hair loves water to at least run thru it...no vigorous manipulation...squeeze out drippies and then add my moisturizer/leavin....mid-week it's great it still stays moisturize doesn't dry out (still shrinks) but still not really any breakage from doing that cause im not combing or brushing or even finger combing all that much....

I spritz my twists every day (sometimes multiple times a day) with a mixture of Poland Spring water (lol), Aloe Vera juice, glycerin, jojoba or castor oil and essential oils...love it!

My hair loves water too...I don't wet it as much when its cold but in summer I spritz it everyday with water, moisturize, seal and bun it. I got remarkable growth when I did this last summer.

I rinse with water everyday and add a touch of conditioner to leave-in plus olive oil. My hair is in flat twists and under a wig.
