When you first separated what did you do for regarding funds and childcare?

Anyone move out of state? How did you deal?

I am not in the U.S but before we separated I had an agreement drafted and notarized that outlined what the kids and I would get monthly pending divorce. I felt I had to do this as my ex took the position that he shouldn't have to be a husband and take care of financial responsibility since I didn't want to be a wife (servant to take care of his needs and wants without regard for mine).
I would advise that anyone doing this seek proper legal counsel to make sure this does not limit what you get in a divorce settlement.
