Hello Ladies...I'm in the beginning stages of a divorce and my lawyer said we would be good candidates for mediation. I've heard both good and bad things about mediation used in divorces and I'm just wondering if anyone here has had any a personal experience with it.

I decided that that was what I was going to do as well. I found out that even though we agreed on a settlement --taxes takes 30% of it now what. So I have a lot of issues to he is so pissed off but I do not care I have to plan for the rest of my life. I planned it to be with him so I didn't have to worry about it and now I am here trying to start over again. He is trying to rush me for some unknown reason but I am refused to be pushed I think its best to get some help. there are a lot of hidden factors involved with getting a divorce.
