Hit: Giovanni Direct leave in, Aveda Sap Moss shampoo.

you guys are gonna make me break down and get that leave-in. i saw it last night at vitamin shoppe and started to get it but put it back lol.

 Misses: Switching stuff up! This Proclaim Tea Tree Shampoo did not tingle like I was expecting so I doubt my hair will remain itch-free long, I mixed up my Affirm 5-in-1 with Aphogee and I'm now tpying with a steamy towel-Humecto-Motions combo, and I don't remember the last time I washed my hair when I normally do so once OR MORE a week :look:...

go on and get it. :D

Hits:
Aubrey Organics GPB conditioner- This stuff is amazing!!
Redken Heat Glide

Revisited Hit:
VO5 Tea Therapy Conditioner- This cheapie makes an excellent cream rinse for in shower detangling. I love the ingriedients and the smell. :p

Hit: Sealing my ends with oil after moisturizing. May sound elementary to you, but I just thought sealing was for those who wanted to be superfreaks about their hair. And I was right about the superfreaks. They want to be superfreaks about not having their ends snap, crackle and pop off like mine!! Anyway. Sealing is in for me. Have seen such a difference (seal with Jojoba and/or olive oil)

Miss: Not sealing your ends;)

Hit: Blended Beauty Curl Styling Butter  This stuff is better than Qhemet Sidr Tree Butter Balm IMO....it's very moisturizing without me needing to add anything to it!! :yep:

HITS

I don't think I mentioned this one before:
Beyond the Zone Noodle Head - I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stuff!

MISSES

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm going to call this a miss. I knew I should've curbed that PJ'ism instead of trying something new. What I already had was working, but I had to do it...

Garnier Fructis Long & Strong Shampoo and Conditioner - I really liked the way my hair felt after using this, but as I was combing (with the Jilbere) hair was coming out like crazy! I attributed this to my hair already being used to, and liking, what I've been doing for the past few months. I haven't seen that much hair come out in the comb in a long long time. I won't be using this again.

Garnier Fructis Smoothing Milk - I tried blowdrying with this, but my hair looked and felt dry and kind of sticky. Me no likey.

That's what I get for buying stuff I didn't need.

I agree with you on the Kemi Oyl. The one I used before I purchaed the new one smells soooo much better than the old formula.

KCCC=kinky curly curling custard. And mixed chicks, i used it after a condtioner wash, jus slathered it on and combed thru for a wash ago, then used kcc, its good for curl definition and makes the hair very soft. Its kind of on the small side, so for the price, i know im gonna finish it fast. My hair absorbed it, didn't leave a white residue, which i loved.

Mmmm....yeah, that stuff is yummy! I haven't used mine in a while...I'll break it out for my cowash later this week. Makes my hair smell good for DAYS.:)

Hits:
- Nexxus Humectress. I finally got around to trying the sample that came in the mail. Its good stuff, even though I don't see myself forking over the dough for the full sized bottle (I'm a cheap skate). Off to try the generic at Sally's.
- Glycerin. I was about to throw this stuff away but I seen that someone here uses it before moisturizers or deep treatments or something like that. I put some on my wet hair right before I applied the deep treatment and it seemed to help the treatment penetrate more and work more effectively.

Miss

Alma oil has a shelf life of 1 year. Also, did you shake well? It helps if you shake it.

Big hit: Hemp Hydrating Conditioner.

Hmm, I looked at this one several times the last time I went to Sally's. I couldn't figure out how I felt about the hemp. What did you like about this one? Did it detangle, or heal shedding, or give you softness???

Sally's carries Vitapointe. :)

I remember I used to keep a bottle of Kemi in my purse for my personal aromatherapy moments when I'd get stressed at work. It's time for us to be reunited...
