i've actually been doing all the wrong things.i wear my hair down every day to class. dont moisturize daily, only after i've washed my hair. have been relaxing more frequently and i've even been overlapping to get the underprocessed parts straight. at least i still wash and condition weekly :/.
i dont know how close i am to waist length. btw what's considered waist length?? is it the top of your pants or the smallest part of your stomach above your belly button? i'd love to get 3-4 more inches then grow my hair into the U shape.
as for special tonic, nope, nada. i cant swallow pills and hate putting anything on my scalp.
Breee your hair looks great!!!
Your rollerset is sooooo perfect!!! How long does it normally take you to rollerset? Also, do you part each section? I mean, your rollers are symmetrical, do you just part as you go along or do you divide your hair into 5 sections like you have? I know this sounds confusing , but im trying to get better at rollersetting.

thanks girl! it took me sooooo long to learn to do it, all of last year. i stalked carefree's album and copied her rollerset exactly(big shout-out to carefree). i've never timed myself b/c at this time i dont care how long it takes i just want to get it done. but i'm pretty sure it takes me 35 min to an hour. once i get better i know it'll be reduced. the way i get it to look so neat is by looking in my 3 sided mirror i have in my bathroom. that way i see how i'm parting it in the back. i actually start by doing the left row first and clipping the rest of my hair out of the way. then i'll make the individual horizontal parts as i get to them and once that row is done. i move to the middle column and continue doing it that way.
Bree, You self relax??? this last time i didnt, but 2 or 3 relaxers before i did and will start doing it again.
How often do you relax? usually every 3 mths, but have been doing it every other month to correct underprocessed hair.
Who trims your hair for you? i do, but this last time i let my aunt relax and trim my hair to correct the underprocessed parts(which wasn't my fault, my old hair dresser didnt know what she was doing when i switched from no lye to lye).
I am in awe of your hair! YOU GO BREE! THANKSSS SO MUCH
I would have never guessed that you are doing anything "wrong" to your hair. From the looks of it,what you are doing is right.
