Tomorrow is the start of week four. I usually take my hair down on a Saturday and redo it on a Sunday. This might stay in until week five because I'm planning on being in South Jersey next weekend. We shall see, as I dont like leaving my braids in long.

Coming up on 2 weeks in these minis and I'm planning to texlax after I take them down so I hope to keep them in 4-6 weeks. Time is flying so it'll be time to texlax before I know it. I'm almost 6 months post so it's time.

Today marks 3 weeks in mini braids. Usually, I'd refresh them next week or so but I'm planning to ride them out for a few more weeks. Then I'll take them down for my texlax!

I cut around 2 inches off all around. Probably could do another 3/4 of an inch but will keep my eye on it next quarter. I like my revair but my roots are never really pulled out. Went over it with my round brush this morning to pull it out at the roots.

Getting it braided and crocheted back up at 10.

Don't you put no mo' scissors to your head!!! :spank:

Lol, no really. Two inches is like 6 months of growth for me!! You stay in full PSs, your ends are very much protected from the elements and from manipulation. Your ends shouldn't be too bad considering all of that. I think you're right to keep caring for your hair and watching your ends.

My twist are looking extra boneless at the ends. But it usually looks like that when its moisturized/wet. When i get to a length im comfortable with then i might chop chop. Right now they're holding everyone together lol

BTW, I'm 3 weeks, 2 days in these mini twists but I've got a lot of looseness at the base of them so I'm not able to extend them anymore.
I'm exactly 6 months post as of yesterday so I'm just gonna go ahead and take them down for a 01-Apr texlax.
I don't like my hair loose for very long so I'm probably gonna go right back into some mini twists and rock those until my next texlax in Oct.
Texlaxing every 6 months helps keep things manageable for me.

Coming up on one week this Saturday. I need to back into moisturizing. I’ve just been spritzing the Yerba and going about my way

Need to reupp on my geritol , B12 and collagen today. I’ll put an order in when I leave the doctors appt.

Oh I need more MSM as well.

I texlaxed last Wed, 2-Apr-25. Just finished installing my mini braids (no extensions) last night, 7-Apr-25. I made the parts a little bigger than I usually do but I'll keep them until my first refresh. I might end up splitting them. Now it's time to mix up my daily spray and new scalp oil.

Right now, the plan is to keep the mini braids until my texlax anniversary in Oct.
I've gone from SL in Dec 2022 to MBL (my bottom rib bone) here in Apr 2025. C&G is my homie!
