Cowashed with HQS Coconut lime cleansing condish... my hair doesn't really like this one at all. It doesn't detangle well and it doesn't condition either so I guess I'm going to have to soup this one up.

hi  2 questions: when you all co wash do you put the conditioner on your scalp? also has anyone ever put a couple drops of castile soap into conditioner for co wash?
TIA

I don't directly apply it to my scalp like I do with shampoo but if it's gets on there I don't trip.
No the the other question, I have used castile soap on my body and 3 drops was enough to get too many dang on bubbles. I feel like if you add the soap it's not a CW anymore, you are shampooing your hair basically.
HTH

nadaa16 - I don't put the conditioner on my scalp. When it did it seemed to make my scalp itch. I have never used castile soap.

I haven't tried the castile soap yet but I may in the future. Many of the examples I have seen are putting it in a deep conditioner and not an instant conditioner to alter the ph balance of the deep conditioner.

When I cowash I don't put the conditioner on my scalp. I do massage my entire head like I do when I'm washing so it probably does get on my scalp. But I part my hair while I'm rinsing to get water directly to my scalp to get a good rinse.

I've been cowashing every Monday or Tuesday, I've been consistent cause Lord knows I've got a solid 6 months of rinse out conditioners to get through, smh.

Co-washed with TJ Nourish Spa (used-up), TJ TTTT (used up), and Desert Essence Fragrance Free Conditioner.

I'm joining. I'm just a little late for one leg, and early for another.

Starting September 1. I co-washed with Elucence.

Been cowashing daily since 06/07 the date of my BC. this is the only thing I've been consistent with. My progress so far

Cowashing tonight with my new boo Everyday Shea moisturizing conditioner. I plan on GHEing after I'm done with that. I hope you all are doing well!

Said I was going to scale back on my daily cowashing....I lied:giggle: I cowashed every day this week with AOHSR (oil rinsed, tea rinsed as well).

I am trying to scale back and it is hard. I have to repeat to myself "no co-washing, no co-washing" before I step into the shower.

Been cowashing daily with AM3MM. Tried Paul Mitchell The Conditioner as a leave-in..... LOVE IT!!!!!! Flat ironed now for a trim and used PMTC as my leave-in....buttah flatty!!
