Thank you so much, because reading all of these responses before this, I thought that I was the only one. My father is desperate to have someone (me) continue the family business, and is now getting super controlling. The last guy who was interested in me, wanted us to move away and thus stood up to my dad. Thus he never liked him after that. It was then when I realized that I would never get an objective viewpoint from him, and my mother pretty much follows his lead. The relationship didn't work for other reasons, but it opened my eyes quite a bit.
