I bought the Almond a few days ago and have been using it as a body wash and a few squirts in my bathwater. It is very nice and it smells yummy. I didn;t realize you were supposed to dilute it for bodywash, I like the lather I get undiluted, but I may test a small amount diluted to see how I like that. Will definitely dilute if I use it for shampoo

Actually I really think Nasabbs castille shampoo is way better. It does not really have a scent, well a kind of natural scent.

When I used the Bronners on my braids, my hair felt odd. Kind of coated, I think is a good way to explain it.

Nasabb's does not do that. I really love it. I only use this while I am in braids, but I think I may try it when I am out of braids.

I love the peppermint, so invigorating. The lavendar was okay, I want to try the Almond now. I have only used as a body wash thought about using on hair but decided against it.

I use Almond, Peppermint on myself when I don't go to the gym...
I use Lavender or Tea Tree on myself when I do go to the gym...
I clean with SalSuds
I will use Citrus in the kitchen to clean fruit and counter tops...
Never tried rose, thinking about it though

All of them (and then some) as a saponifier it's cool that I can choose any I feel like making at the time.

I purchased the lavender one. I had to dilute the product because it to strong for my hair, this stuff will take the bark of a tree:lachen::lachen::lachen:. I love the versitilty of the product. very economical.

The Almond smell so so good :lick: all of us wash our bodies with that flavor. I use the Pepermint for the floors, I wash our clothes with the Lavendar and I wash my hair with the Tea Tree.

Are there any other *flavors* of castile soap that I haven't ran across yet?

I originally love the Peppermint, but I've been meaning to try Almond and Tea Tree. I love the uses you have for all of them. I'm thinking I might do that as well!

Anyone else seen Eucalyptus and Hemp? I smelled them but I don't know if I like them enough just yet

I never knew Castile soap had so many uses. Until now, i've only used it as a body wash. I'm gonna start using it for my laundry. I really hate laundry detergent.

I've tried and still use: Tea Tree, Almond, Rose, Peppermint.

I especially like the smells of Almond and Rose...I use all for my hair, but t.t and peppermint are the most used for that. I like the way my scalp feels after using these two.

i'm bumping this. does anyone use this for eczema? does this soap make the skin dry?
I dont have eczema but no, it doesnt make my skin dry at all..

I :love:love to wash my body and hair with the Peppermint!!! The smell is so soothing to me, that it's the perfect thing to ensure a good nights rest.

I have purchased the Lavender, but I honestly have not broken that out of it's box yet. I'm going to have to try the Almond next!

I use almond for my hair. I mix it with oils. I will have to try other scents though (peppermint & citrus) for washing my undergarments. I would like to try using it as a body wash too..but I need to find a way to make it less strong. I dilute it and it still is too strong for a body wash for me compared to more traditional soaps like skin so soft.

I enjoy the rose the citrus and the almond....I would use the tea tree, because its good for your skin, all the time but it smells medicinal

i just used the peppermint one yesterday mixed with avosoya oil and water and i loved it. it was sooooooooooo gentle.

I love this one. I bought it when I was home for christmas but it was too heavy for my to bring back to DC. I havent repurchased only because I need to use the products i already have in bathroom...and my closet...and under my bed...and behind my floor length mirror....

Shikakai Lavendar :yep: Smells divine and leaves my hair feeling oh so fine!

I just bought the almond today at Whole Foods! (Like I need more products). I can't wait to dilute this with water and oils and use it this weekend!!!! PJs unite!!!

Tried everything except the tea-tree. Fav is Almond, second runner up Lavender. Love some Dr. Bonners...I was going to experiment using the bar on my hair like a shampoo bar, but I have a bunch of shampoo (and barely no conditioner from all the co-washing:ohwell:), and I need the bar to shower with..trying to preserve it

Anyone else like Kirk's castile soap bars? They are super cheap compared to Dr. Bonner's (smaller in size though). Thinking about using that as a shampoo bar.

Peppermint, all day! i have been using this since i was a kid (on my body)...in the summer time it is the best :yep:

i love the peppermint too. i mix 3 caps of castile and 3 caps of evoo into a small spray bottle. then fill it with distilled/bottled water. i use it once a week. it leaves my hair feeling clean and soft. i just might dump my commerical poo's and stick with this. and the smell is hypnotic.

I have always brought peppermint..but yesterday they were all out so i brought the almod for the 1sty time and it smeels great!

I love Dr. Bonner's Castile Soap!

I LOVE the almond one.

I use it as:
a bodywash-I feel extra clean
a facial cleanser-the peppermint is too drying for my face
a wool rug cleaner-I had a stain in my oriental rug and it said that it was safe for wool and it worked!
for my dental hygiene-yes I brushed my teeth with it. I read the reviews on Amazon and people mentioned brushing their teeth with it so I tried it. My teeth were clean but I missed the minty after-taste of tooth paste.
laundry detergent-I added it to my laundry along with the regular detergent for some extra cleaning power. I love the smell of gain and tide so I couldn't bring myself to completely eliminate them
shampoo-it really clarified my hair and was very drying. I had to deep condition under the dryer just to be able to detangle my hair:nono:
But I didn't know it had to be diluted first.

I buy mine from whole foods or from Beauty 4 U (a bss)

Then you should try the peppermint flavor, that's what I use to brush my teeth with.

I heard Dr. Bronners just started a new Rose Castile Soap. Mmm! I can't wait to give it a go!

I didn't know they sold the rose fragrance in a bottle. I've only seen it in the bar form. Does anyone know if they sell the lemon fragrance in a bottle too? The lemon scent and the rose scent are my fav Dr. Bronner varieties.

Has anyone tried Dr Woods Shea butter castile soap?
