I currently have the Qhemet Burdock root creme and I love it when I flatiron. I am trying to cut cost plus cut my trip all the way out to the depths of BK. I see the ingredients of the shea moisture smoothie and they lok really tempting.

Someone get in here and let me know somthing.

it is nothing a like. i think you should stick with QB. the SM smoothie is like a whipped mousse. and it leaves a residue or the hair. it is good to use for twists, twistouts, braids, and ponytails, but i wouldn't use it for flat ironing.

I agree. Shea Moisture Smoothie is great for twists, braids and other natural styles, but I would NOT use it on flat ironed hair. P.S. I've use the Qhemet Biologics on my daughters' natural hair and it was definitely my favorite, but it was too expensive for two heads and Shea Moisture did the same for the natural styles. I'll never forget how ULTRA moisturized my daughters' hair was at the end of a week with Qhemet though. It's a great product, if you can afford it.
