Bsl/mbl Challenge 2019, Let's Go!

So every day I start this 21 day challenge with the xcel 21, adding something new makes me start over! I’ll be at day 365 before my regimen is solid.

Tonight is hot oil treatment with a mix of all the oils I’ve accumulated under the steamer. I’m going to spray my hair with the oils and sit under the steamer for 30 minutes, rinse in the shower, spray xcel 21 and seal with my sulfur ‘grease’.

Good night ladies! Let’s gro

I would like to join! Right now I poo once a week & DC & I also do a scalp detox in the middle of the week & DC. I use fermented RW after every DC. I also use NJoy's Oil as a growth aid. I just ran out of GroAut so I'm thinking I will alternate between the two as each bottle runs out. I'm waiting on my wig to arrive & then I will be hiding my hair until the summer.

This pic is my starting length.

OK Ladies, here it is!!

Let's start the year off w healthy hair practices but also patience and kindness w our overall health n bodies. Feel free to share whatever you'd like. This is a judgement free zone, and happy girl equals happy hair !
:beach:

Check in with a like and/or post. You may also start posting here. I will monitor the challenge frequently and offer support and encouragement throughout the year. Let's grow together!
Thank you so much for starting this challenge Caramel!
I'd like to join and I hope that I'm in the correct place
My goal is to reach BSL stretched with my longest layers by the end of the end.
My longest layers are my nape. My sides and front are roughly similar in length in inches but naturally they don't fall as low down on my back. And I may never cut my whole hair to the same length at the back, so I'll probably just keep chasing the nape.

Your Reggie sounds on point too, thank you for joining!

My ends were starting to feel really damaged, as I have not had a trim since my BC 8 months ago. Wanted to go professional but tbh I really did not have $50 just to be lazy.

The first pic, brace yaself, why I really don't wear it straight n e more unless its full SL. 2nd pic I trimmed the ends in the pony cuz it looked jacked n I think that also helped me trim my natural layers/stunted areas whatever this issue is. Last pic made sure I got it in as I did not want to horrify y'all, lol.

Sliding in this challenge, finally! I haven’t been BSL in a very long time! I’m currently APL and I’m doing the w-n-g challenge so thats pretty much how I’ll be wearing and caring for my hair this year. I will straighten for Christmas and once in July for a mid year length check. No trims until 2020. I promised myself I would only trim every 5 years.

Pull down today.

I wanna brag a lil bit. I've been too lazy and too busy to apply a bkt. I ended up straightening my hair Monday after washing and blow drying on Friday. It has been amazing. I style it daily (mostly in buns). I think the coconut oil made it feel/act better.

Hopefully I'll have the energy to bkt this Monday.

This was last night's bun...

@Saga

Thank you for joining us! Feel free to share with us how you obtained that thick long head of hair...
:worship2:
:welcome:
Haha, thank you! I see it as neither thick nor long but it's nice to know someone else does!
I have been washing my hair less often to avoid long manipulative detangling sessions because I have fragile strands that I regularly fortify with protein. I exfoliate my scalp every time I wash, because I used to have bad dandruff.

So in a nutshell low manipulation, clean scalp, protein, and also Queen Shea buttah.

I'm in! excuse my length shirt, the washer tore it. smh

This is my hair blow dried as of last night. Before pulling it the longest layer is at the 10" Pulled its at 12". My hair is now 13.5- 14" long. 3" until I reach my goal! :toocool:

After I took the pics, I dusted my layers. I need a protective style and HSN to reach my goal sooner. :drunk:
