Brastrap in 2007 Challenge!!!

I am in! Finally I can get some motivation! I have been consistent with my haircare for awhile and then I slip up for awhile and it goes back and forth. I want longer flowing hair too! So it is now time girls to reach brastrap for 07!
 
If it's not too late I'd like to join. I am currently at collarbone when stretched and I'm hoping to make BSL by the time I graduate next year, May.
Here is my current regimen:

Co-wash two times a week, Monday & Wednesday
Wash once a week, Saturdays
Deep condition every Saturday
Moisturized one to two times a day.
Baggie methond each night
Protective styles every day :cry3:
Absolutely no heat, at most every 8-12 weeks.
Stretching relaxer for 12 weeks.
 
I'm in too. I'm in the Shoulder length challenge now, but I'm already at shoulder length. I just want it to be healthier and thicker. I think I can make it to bra strap by December 2007.
 
Glad to see so many ladies are in on it! I'm glad this thread was bumped, cuz I've been feeling really bummed about my progress. I've just decided to hide my hair to Christmas (mainly from myself :lol: ) so I can show it off in '07!
 
yup, brastrap by 07 or friggin bust! i am in..i will be wearing my hair in protective styles until then..off and on, but mostly on...
 
I am in too. I have been really slackin lately. But i am going to get braids hopefully by the end of the month and start my vits again so i can reach the BSL goal!!!!!!
 
Count me in! I'm currently a few inches past shoulder. Aiming for APL by the end of first semester so I think that with prayer, protective styles, and a consistent regimen, I can be at Bra Strap by sometime next year! :grin:

Since my hair decided to take a break from growing I don't think I will make it to BSL by this years so I'm aiming for February 2007. :ohwell: I have about 1 inch until BSL.

Wait, but July is just ending! That gives you five months to gain at least an inch and I think you can do it, you're so close already! Keep trying, I think you'll make it! :o
 
Count me in this challenge as well!! I'm currently SBL, so I think I can make Brastrap in 07. Hopefully in Jan/Feb :)
 
How is everyone doing?

I'm getting closer and closer! If everything goes well, I might make it by December 2006. :yep:

I'm stretching (& no heat) until the first week in October...about 14 weeks.
 
I'm aiming for APL in February, and on me brastrap is 3 inches or so from there, so I think I can make brastrap by October or November 2007, barring any hair catastrophies!

I would like to join in. I know for sure that I am past shoulder length aiming for apl then onto BSL for 2007.
 
I don't think I've ever joined a challenge before! So this is the best time to do it. So I'm in! :D This should motivate me to moisturize my ends like I need to.

I'm just at APL right now, but I'm about to trim 1/2-1in in the back and cut some off the sides to match my bangs (chin). I wish I could do it now, but I can't find my stupid shears!

Anyway, after that, I'm MTG-ing again after stopping for the summer. I'll be bunning and stretching out my relaxers. I'm so excited! I can't wait to be at BSL! I can finally see it happening now!

Oh and my goal is for sometime in the spring for a special event (maybe May/June)
 
Hi Ladies...

Just checking in! I've been a little MIA, kinda forgot about my hair with all the personal ish I've been going through lately, but I'm back :cool: . I took some progress pics and I'm happily pleased with the progress so far, just hiding till Xmas. Also, I relaxed (moreso texlaxed) yesterday after a 6 month stretch with Nairobi, lye. I was thinking of transitioning, but I decided it wasn't for me right now. We'll see for the future though. I'm also new moon trimming this Friday night, trying to even everything up again. Surprisingly, my hair is still even after my trim in May. I still think I'll make Brastrap in July.

Also, I wanted to post the names of everyone in this challenge. I'll also edit the first post of this thread to include the names.

I know I joined this Challenge but I didnt see my name on the list. I added myself and put the list in alphabetical order. How are you ladies coming along? I was hoping to reach my goal by X-mas but I am not sure since the Big Chop set me back. I am not aiming for May 2007.

you know, now that i've taken my progress pic for 05 - 06, this challenge doesn't seem so distant for me... if i can achieve the same growth, i should definitely hit brastrap by july... :grin:

Looks like you're on the way there. That's amazing progress, your hair looks beautiful.
 
Well,

I am about 2 or 3 inches from APL hope to make it by Dec. 2006 so I can show off my hair for christmas then right back up my hair goes til I reach brastrap.:)
