Really? WOW.. I haven't been itching at all.. I guess maybe it just depends on the person.. sorry you were itching like that! Glad it's gone now though!

Yeah, thanks! I am not sure if I can go through that again.
I tell you the things a sistah will do to grow some hair faster!

I guess since I need to start up on my pill again, I might switch to Freeda, but PP's prices are just to good. Plus I am happy with the results I have been gettting.

I wanted to hear that response before I said anything cause I thought I was TRIPPIN' yesterday! You know those ARGUMENTS you have w/yourself? "Gurl, the biotin is NOT making you itch, it's in your head". Response: "Yeah, my head, my legs, dang my arms, my neck and my back!".

At least I know I'm not crazy, well, not about the itching anyway!

Lanecia, I had that same problem along with the bumps on my forehead, but once I increased my water intake things dissolved

Thanks for the heads up Anje, I will make sure I stay plenty hydrated then!

Technically, it's referred to a Vitamin H but to answer your question, I do not believe so. In all of my research, I never saw a reference to this being the case. As far as I know, the only fat soluble vites are A, D, E & K.

But again, I am no nutritionist. I'll look around and see what I can find out if noone else answers first.

THanks girl.. I appreciate you letting me know that Biotin isn't fat soluble and which vites are!! Thanks so much!!

Ok, I'm busted!

I noticed that too so I decided that whatever you were taking that I wasn't I might try to incorporate (also keeping in mind that what works for one doesn't necessarilly work for another). So here's what's changed: Biotin, changed from Vitamin Shops to Freeda (I wasn't seeing any results w/that stuff anyway) and added digestive enzymes. I need this anyway for my diet as I start preparing for competition in August.

I remember you said that you don't use the Surge anymore but my hair is soooooo much stronger since I've been using it that it's a staple in my forming regimen now.

Now I'm off to finish my protein shake...

A lot of people have gotten great results from the Surge. I just wasn't one of them!

Now what where you saying about being my personal stalker!! Let me stop playing.

That's great! Mimick is the greatest form of flattery. You should start seeing results in about a month or so, maybe sooner. The enzymes are very important for digestion of all those vits. Make sure you drink plenty of water. I am up to a gallon a day. I also ride my bike 2-3 times weekly.

Good Luck!

I am taking GNC HS&N with 2500 mcg of Biotin 2x/day. These pills are huge--to me, anyways! Why don't they make vitamins tastey and chewy like Flinstones' Kids??? Those were the best. Now they need to come up with "Wilma and Betty's Chewable Biotin Tablets: The Hair Growth Secret of Black Bedrock"...that would be nice and I would be on that like Garfield on lasagna.

Val I take those losenges too!
They are sooo good like candy! I think that is how I got my growth Feb to March because I was taking like 10,000 mcg (4 capsules I think)

oops mcg. I was taking 2 a day. Yesterday I inceased my dosage to 4 a day or 2400 mcg daily. looks like i am way behind everyone else here. but my multi vitamin has another 300 mcg in it and my super b-complex has 30 mcg in it. So i guess that give me a grand total of drum roll please-2730 mcgs daily.
