It works very well for me

but only when my hair is almost or completly dry, when my hair is too wet I get breakage but no breakage at all when it's dry

I moisturize with ORS Olive oil and seal with Jojoba oil, I baggy every night and when I wear a phony pony I keep the baggy underneath

my ends are sooo soft when I remove the baggy in the morning

My ends are dry like the desert (not to mention crunchy:eek: ). I've never tried the baggie method, I'm doin' it today for the very first time. I blended olive oil, ojon restorative treatment (oil) and brazil nut deep conditioning cream. I'm gonna leave it for about an hour, hope I get some results:perplexed

so so chic,

Thanks for the tip. :) I'm going to use a plastic cap for bagging vs. a sandwich bag. My ends sometimes come out when untwisting the baggy.

My hair responds well to the baggie. I moisturize with a few different things, just depending on how I feel. I use NTM silk touch, garnier fructice leave in, kids organic shea butter dentangler, and cantu leave-in. Then I'll seal with hot six oil (I really like this stuff :) ). I will just twist my hair, and then wrap it around in a bun, then I will put a baggie over it w/ evoo inside of the baggie (lately i've been using a plastic shower cap a sort of wrap it around twice kinda like you would a scrunchie), then I'll put a ponytail holder over it (I won't double it so that it's not tight) and a then a footie (one of those kinds that are really small that you'd wear if you wanted to wear heals, but did not want it to show :look: ). I put a scarf on to keep my edges in place, and that's it :) . In the morning, my hair is soft and well moisturized.

Baggie is my secret weapon:bud: . It is for real for length retention I do it every day I add some sort of water based moisture, NTM Silk Touch, Spring water w/ glycerince and honey, or plain water. I then add an oil moisturiser like EQP oil remoisturiser, BB castor, or ORS carrot oil then castor oil then bag it on up. My ends stay perfect no trimming required and I keep each and every inch I grow.Thank God for the baggie method!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does your hair respond well to the baggie system? I'm beginning to think mine doesn't.
I'm new here but I think the problem isn't the baggy method but with what you're putting on your ends. Humectress contains protein (Keratin Amino Acids) - which can be drying. I use Elasta QP's Feel Like Silk Gel (it's mostly glycerin) and seal it with Coconut or Palm Oil. Using the gel and oil doesn't leave the hair overly wet either. Hope this helps! :-)

i continue to embrace the baggie method, my ends are in good condition, WHAT DO THE NEW BAGGY METHODER'S THINK? 20PERLZ and ShaniKeys
