Not me! I was like yeah right, Aveda is only bad on breakfast cereal. I won't tell you how I know that. :look:

I'm using the whole damage remedy line, I bought the intensive restructurizer that ish was 68 bucks jeez!, I have the 1 litre restructurizing shampoo which was I think 67 bucks, and the 1 litre restructurizing conditioner that was over 80 bucks, I also have the pomade, I was hoping it didn't work so I could take it back lol, because the rep told me once its over half full I could bring it back for a full refund! Well lord after I finished deep condition with the intensive I sat in the mirror like WTF I'm I gonna do with all those other products and if you check my forki I have a lot lol, I'm going back to get the moisturizer and a few more stuff, the good thing is I found my staple so I'm looking at the brighter side not the cost! Lol

I am obsessed with AVEDA products. I just purchased and used the Smooth Infusion poo and conditioner. That is the best smelling stuff in the world and it left my hair so buttery soft. My husband can't keep his nose out of my hair now!:D And thanks to the DR line my hair is 95% breakage free! LONG LIVE AVEDA.

Well I am Looking at the Cost:eek: WOW! That is expensive, Almost over $200, Oh Well! I'll keep my Routine Cheap Products that are doing me Good:lol:

I used when I first went natural and was not impressed. I was using the Sap Moss line.

Maybe I will try it again when Ive used up all this other crap I got.

The rep also told me some tips she said never mix lines when you are doing a deep condition or a treatment, I ask her why because I picked up the peppermint conditioner and she ask me if I'm getting the shampoo to go with it I said no I just want the conditioner she told me hold on and went for a book and began to explain the woman new her stuff I was amaze she was so verse, she said the shampoo is made to go with the conditioner in every line she said its not like it wouldn't work its just gonna work better, because aveda's products are made in a step by step system that's why they work so great, so next I'm gonna get the whole pepermint line and so on and so forth, so with that said I have over 50 porducts I need to get rid of so I'm gonna just prepoo with them so I could use them up, I love how my hair feels, this aveda person whoever made this aveda thing is a damn genious lol, after I deep conditioned I put the pomade in only and curls was everywhere, normally I have to put all kinds of stuff, a pity I had to bun it to go to work ggrrrrhh

I am an Aveda devotee of about 10 years! Me likey! I was in desperate love with the Curessence line and reluctantly moved to DR once they discontinued that and I'm still in love. would like to try the Smooth line of products too.

The price sounds a lot but the products are so concentrated I could see it lasting a really long time, the rep said just use 1 squirt and massage it in, she was right I thought for my hair in need a lot but she was so right that thing spread and saturated like no other, so when you do the math with the regular conditioners that you go through weekly its half of a dozen 6 of the other, it ends up being the same and the results is priceless anyways:)

I came in here to let you have it....but I'm glad to see that it worked well for you. I'm a long time Aveda user too. I've tried many others but I always go back to Aveda. I can get pricey but I figure I owe myself that much since I don't visit a salon often, if at all.

:lachen: i was bought to come up in here swingin' LMAO...yall play too much ;) I can't live w/o my DR intensive treatment, brilliant conditioner, & be curly lotion...shoot i really can't live w/o any of my aveda products but those three have been outstanding for me.

ok, I have never tried Aveda, and I was trying not to buy any more products, especially since I love my KeraCare and Motions line...but the way yall are raving about it, I may have to add one more line.

I TRIED TO GET A SAMPLE FROM THE STORE AND SHE CLAIMED NOT TO HAVE ANY. PLEASE TELL ME HOW THE TREATMENT WORKED?

So which Aveda line would anyone recommend for a newbie?

I wish I could find free samples somewhere.

Now did you go to an Aveda Store or a lifestyle/concept salon? Because at the store, they will ALWAYS give you samples. It's a whole 'nother issue at the lifestyle/concept salons - they never want to give samples.

it depends on your hair needs but i like sap moss and the brilliant line. alot of people like the damage remedy line. i havent used that yet. they have a new line out now, smooth infusions( i think is the name) but again, i havent tried that either:)

What is the condition of your hair now? My first Aveda product was the Sap Moss - my hair didn't like it:mad: The second was DR - my hair thrived, as it wasn't in the best condition at the time. Now I'm in deep, deep love with the Smooth Infusion line.

I'd say try the DR & if you don't like it - take it right back and try something else :)

Is be curly Aveda's? I've heard people talk about it. I thought it was some other brand. I'm definitely gonna try that for WnGs. :yep:

which pomade do u speak of?

You know? I wanted to just throw all of my products in the trash after buying my Aveda DR line. That's just how much in love I am. But, of course, I didn't. I'm taking a large gym bag full of products to work tomorrow to give away. I am so excited to have finally found my staples. Yes, this stuff is NOT cheap, but if it prevents me from buying more products, then I'm all for it.

I've kept a lot of my dominican deep conditioners because I love them.

I've also kept my henna and other Indian oils.

However, I'm getting rid of all these superfluous products lying around that I obviously didn't like because the bottles are still nearly full.

With Aveda, I will now be able to use BT and stretch my relaxer through the summer.

I can't express how grateful I am that you ladies suggested Aveda. I must also thank the lovely ladies from the Aveda Institute here in D.C. They helped me make my decision between the DR and the Smooth Infusion line. They also assisted me in finally finding a moisturizer that doesn't weigh my hair down or make it look dull and dry!

I'm so excited!! :party::yay::dance7::yay:
