I vote No.
I really don't buy products and when I do its for my lil ones hair.
I think once I stop wearing my braids I will buy more products.

Yes.......and long before LHCF too! It has gotten worse since joining though, because when someone raves about a product I go out and purchase not one bottle-- but 2 or 3!
I know, I got it bad ya'll! :look:
Where's the line for rehab? :perplexed

You ladies are making me feel so bad with the "I used to be, I'm reformed"...well not really:D

I'm a master PJ!! I have so many hair products, you wouldn't believe it. But to my defense, that's mostly due to the fact that I have to buy a lot of stuff abroad because I can't find them here. So whenever I go to the States or to London I buy TONS of products. Last trip to London was a couple of weeks ago and let's just say I won't be needing anything since 2008...

And 2 weeks prior I found the local distributor of Keracare here and bought the whole line...:sekret:

Feels good not to be alone;)

Don't know if I got a deal on the Keracare though because I didn't check the prices online first but I guess with the shipping costs it would have been the same..

I paid around 100 euros (more or less $125) for:
-Keracare dry & itchy scalp shampoo
-Keracare humecto
-Keracare essential oils
-Keracare oil moisturizer with jojoba oil
-Kecarare creme headdress (haven't tried that yet but I think it was a waste of money - don't think I needed it:ohwell: )
-Keracare silken seal (haven't used this one yet but I wonder what it's for exactly...is it supposed to be a heat protectant?)

ETA: Is that a good price??

:lachen: LMAO!!! :lachen:

Ya'll are crazy!!!!

((((Walks to the front. Clears throat.)))) My name is Twana....and I'm a PJ. I've been on the PJ Challenge for 7 days now. And I'm doing well..........Thank you!!

((((The rest of the PJ's clap as I walk away!!))))

I voted "no". Four products from Mizani, four from Keracare and a bottle WGO were the only new products I tried this year. That comes out to about 1 new product per month. When I try new products, they are typically from the same product line as the rest of my products.

Definitely not a PJ. I can't help but wonder where u guys keep all this stuff. I have problems storing the few things that I do have.

I voted yes. Ever since I came to this board I've been buying all kinds of stuff. Mostly the things that are raved about. I think I've brought so much b/c I am trying to find what works best for my hair and that can solve some of my issues. I have everything from nexxus, kera care, elucence, kenra, qhemet, NTM, and the list goes on. I don't think I'll be purchasing anything for a while. I probably try one more thing (aveda) once I go in to get my hair done this week at the salon. I swear that will be the last .

Yes, I am a product junkie..I have spent over $400 on hair products since joining LHCF at the end of July 2005. I can not go 1 week without buying something new! I just got Sta-Soft-Fro hair spray today. BTW..IMO it's better than S-Curl. I am going to Target to get more flexi-rods and I got my eye on the Fantasia Sparklettes(sp) someone just mentioned on another thread.

I can't help myself..I try try try to stay away from hair products..but they keep calling me, calling my name.

See, I just joined in Sept...I always had PJ tendancies before I joined the board. Now....I'm out of control.....<snif> Do they have meetings about this?? I need to work some steps...., "Hi my name is Janet and I'm a PJ"

Lets put it this way....
Beauty shops within at least four Local councils in London ( Approx 8) know me by first name!!

I think that there should be a different poll for those who are conditioner junkies...I mean, I don't think you can ever have too much conditioner.
:ohwell: :look:

I, too, am a conditioner junkie. I buy conditioner every week. Last week it was Suave Milk and Honey, Suave Aloe Vera, Tresemme Silk Protein and Sunsilk De-Frizz. The week before, it was Suave Tropical Coconut and Tresemme Moisture Rich. Before that Lustrasilk Aloe Vera cholesteral and Hollywood Olive Oil cholesteral. I have lots of conditioner, but I make up of mixtures and give them away to my friends and co-workers and they love it.

I used to think I was a PJ, but what it REALLY is is that I like to have a choice. I like to have the power to choose from a wide selection of products on wash day. :D

EXACTLY....what I'm in search of now is ALOT of leavins, conditioners for co washing, oils, heat protectants (rarely use), moisturizers, errrrr did I say oils....sooooo...ummmm yah, I like to have a choice...yah that's good Supergirl, yah...good thinking...SG...:)

Yah, girl it's bad...I made room in my linen closet, moved some towels and took up the whole bottom parts with hair products and in my bedroom closet. I actually trying to think where am I going to put my new products, when they get here:grin: but I'm going to calm down after this because for real I don't have any place else to put them....ummmm the garbage..naw wouldn't feel like going out there for anything...:lachen: I use to spend my money on Cd's and DVD's now I head straight to the internet or the BSS....:)

I can honestly say that I wasn't a PJ UNTIL I started visiting this site and looking at all of the beautiful, healthy hair!!!

No shame here...I am a full fledged PJ...(as much as my single parent budget will allow :D.)

I literally sit here and write down products as I go through different threads and what results the members claimed/had using them.

Not anymore. At one time, I was on the MTG bandwagon, the S-curl bandwagon and every conditioner in creation bandwagon. Now, my routine is to wash daily (no poo of course). Either I'll CO or just rinse my hair with the water. Either way, I apply UBH moisturizer, castor oil and my own homemade spritz (similar to Cathy Howse Dew, but with a few more things) and then I just bun it.

I was a huge PJ. It's now in a different phase. I have found a good shampoo, good leave in/detangler and a very good protein and moisturizing conditioners so my quest for those are over. My new thing now is finding a very good/great daily product. I bought 2 jars of QB amla and olive and 2 jars of QB sidr so hopefully they are so good that I can retire my VISA when it comes to hair products.

I think i am a PJ, but i have a great excuse. I don't have a scheduled group of products yet. I am obsessed with Paul Mitchell. Grealt stuff. I just bought Oscar Blandi's Creama Soothing Hair Balm today.
