I am, but I'm learning to
just stick with the basics
I don't buy anything new until
I consult with the forum for
other people's reviews.

I can't go 5 days without buying a hair product. I have to keep clearing out more space in my linen closet and my walk-in closet just to make space for my new hair treasures.:perplexed

I put my hands up to this.

My most recent purchase is the Mizani Thermasmooth system. I ordered it from ebay in the US to be delivered to the UK!!

And now I want to get the butterblend relaxer even though I want to stretch my relaxers. Someone restrain me!!

I am a recovering product junkie. I went cold turkey in August. I have been trying to use what I have to see what works. I now limit myself to 1-2 new products a month. This does not include purchasing a product that has proven to work that has run out. Constantly purchasing new products adds up after awhile even if they are cheap.

They try to make me go to rehab but I say no, no, no :band2:

I'm a proud PJ and loving it, but I only buy what I think may work for my or my daughter's hair regardless of all the rants, raves, and reviews. Besides, what I don't use I can always sell and buy more stuff so I'm never really out of any money.

I'm on a 12-step program to kick my addiction. I've significantly limited how many products I've bought in the last 3 months. I don't plan on buying anything new for at least 5 or 6 months (except distilled water which I need for my daily spritzes).

Not at all. Out of all the years I've been here, I've only tried a handful of recommended products. Took me like 3 years to try Dominican conditioners!:lachen:

Certified Product Junkie. But in reality I am just searching for staples. Nothing I've tried so far addresses all of my needs in a particular area. I have one staple (detangler) and I stick with it. But everything else, I am still searching for.

I'm a terrible PJ. I try a lot of the stuff people rave about or if something looks interesting in a BSS, I'll get it. I need to stop at some point because I either only use the product once or have too many products that claim to do the same thing. At the same time, I dont necessarily believe I've found my HG products yet, so that's one of the reasons why I'm still my own guinea pig.

I am definately a self proclaimed hair crack addict. If something catches my eye, especially on this board, im off to the races buying it....LOL.

I am a product junkie and it has gotten worse since I joined the board. over the past week alone i bought
MTG
AO GPB
AO White Camila
Saw Palmetto Conditioner
Black Tea

My husband is going to kill me. My bathroom is turning into a BSS.

^^^mixedchick01.....aww girl you just a baby, you ain't bonafide 'yet. Go to the what did you buy this week thread, you'll see you were just buying "household" products. Some of these girls get it in!

And no I am not a product junkie, I just like to hang in the hair products section of the store - building or online.

This is my first official post. Hi my name is slt54321 and I am an addict. I am such an addict that I have had to take some of products to my storage unit because my family is visiting me this weekend lol. Lawd I need help.

I am. I have so much stuff that I have to keep inventory lists of what I have in my blackberry! I luv to try stuff that you can only get online! Im not that interested if its in the store, unless it used to be only available online...a product snob lol...even though I want it right then and there! My haircare journey is new so I feel like pj'ism is acceptable. I luv CV poo bars so I never buy shampoos but my collection of deep conditioners, regular conditioners, leave ins, sealants, essential oils, and styling products grow daily!
