Are the sides of your hair shorter than the back?

I duno what to tick!!!

The sides and back are roughly the same length.. its the top of my head & fringe that is the shortest
 
My sides are shoulder length while the back is armpit length. I don't know what is going on but its always been that way. And once side is longer than the other...craziness going on in my head of confusion :)

I just spent the last 5 minutes checking my anatomy :look:...doesn't your BSB = BSL? On me it does.
 
My sides are much shorter i assume from pony tails def not b/c its up higher b/c my sides r like ear length and the back is almost mbl. I'm trying mt hopefully i"ll see a difference soon
 
I had the mullet going on with my hair. My back was way longer than my sides and crown. I went to Trade Secrets yesterdy to get my back shaped up. I don't have my hangtime anymore in the back, but it's more even, so yay :)
 
My sides aren't shorter than my back, but my sides (and back) look shorter than the top of my hair. :perplexed
 
i am the opposite. my sides grow soo much longer than the back. I always been that way. Then in Summer 2008, i cut my hair into an angled bob because i overlapped my hair and it was breaking off sooo bad. so unless i cut it even, my sides will continue to be longer than the back.
 
The front of my hair is shorter than the back. They are SL and my back touches APL. I actually got a major cut to even my hair out a year and a half ago and it still grew back uneven. No more cutting my hair anymore to even it out- this is just the way it grows.
 
Yes it is and I hate it, For Me I think its because My growth is alot slower in the front and around the sides, as well as the fact that My hair seems to break very easily in that area, Very Fragile, I have to be very careful with that. but in any case it sucks, UGH! :nono:
 
I would think that the sides and front would be naturally shorter because the hair grows out from different heights on the body. It's lower at the back of the head than the sides and lower at the sides than in the bang area.

I never thought it an issue....:perplexed...meh...

My sides are a little shorter then the back of my hair, but they used to be waaayyyyy shorter. My sides are starting to catch up. :grin:
 
Charmtreese, you are so pretty! I love your new siggy - your hair is looking fabulous!

I wish I could get my sides to grow like the back. I've been working on this since 2006 and 4 years later, it's still the same.
 
My hair on my sides have always been shorter than the back of my head. And on top of that the right side grows longer than the left! LOL, so lopsided.

My sides have always been shorter and it doesn't help that my hair is cut in layers. My sides are APL and the back is BSB.

ETA: I have face framing layers so my bangs are below my chin too.

:lol: the right side of my hair is longer than my left too. But I love knowing that the sides are growing and the crown is catching up!
I know with consistent TLC they will keep growing then I can even up with dusting and trims later, by God's grace!:yep:
