Are the sides of your hair shorter than the back?

the sides especially the hair behind my ears are ridiculously long. Its the middle of my hair thats a lot shorter than the rest. But its layered so it doesnt look weird at all.

Yep, my sides have always been shorter. I think my sides grow at a slower rate than the rest of my hair and I have noticed that my sides are a different type of hair than the rest. It's my 2a hair

My sides haven't ever been jacked but even when I was relaxer my bangs grew fastest and the back grew longest. I think it may be genetic. Once my mom got a REALLY short cut and it still grew the same way. I think it's kind of cute though sometimes lol.

I don't have that problem....I wish I did. My sides are LONGER than the back. So is my crown (I measured my crown last night and it's 14"). I swear I'd be MBL if I could rearrange my scalp.
