Are SINGLE women always viewed as the ENEMY?

I’m not even sure what to entitle this thread, but here’s my question …………….. Do you ever get unwarranted ATTITUDE from a woman who is with her man?

When I say UNWARRANTED I mean you are just minding your own business, living your life. You are not dressed provocatively or in any other way sending out signals (have not said anything to, glance his way or even made eye contact) that you want HER MAN....... yet she is on the defensive.

I’m not sure if this happens because you happen to fit his “type” or if she caught him looking or she is just insecure,,,…..but direct your frustrations at HIM not me!

I know what you are talking about, I think that alot of times the women are insecure, and they know their man's "type" so if u tend to fit that type so to speak, then they get on the defensive. jmho.

No.... but half the time the men these women hiss over ain't even on my level. Usually that signals that man has done something to allow her to feel insecure. RED FLAG

Yep, usually their relationship is going downhill, i.e. he's ready to move on, and she's still trying to hold on to the past.

IF!!! The negroes usually just straight up triflin. :lachen:

Yes, I think so if I am single. However, on the other end of the spectrum if I am with a man and their is another single woman on the scene I would not feel threatend by her b/c if that be the case I cannot stop a man who wants to leave me for someone else no matter what I try to do.

OMG, yes! I am not single but I do notice that because I am "allowed" to go out w/o the SO my friends with SO's who are insecure and/or jealous hearted do not "allowed" my friends to hang out with me. I hate that! :wallbash:

I walked into the gas station the other day looking not at all "sexual" because I'd just left church and the only people in the gas station was me and this butchie girl. I was paying her no mind until the door of the gas station flung, yes literally flung, open and this chick looked at the butchie girl like "What the hell is taking you so long?" with all this anger and hostilty in her expresion. The butchie girl looked at her like "dag, I JUST got in here". It was so obvious that she'd only done that because she just saw me walking in the gas station after the butchie girl.

It happens to me all the time. I don't think its "single women" necessarily. Just women out and about who are alone so appear to be available so therefore pose a threat.

I used to get that with my old boss, she hated me because of my high metabolism. I could eat a whole lasanga, turkey etc and still not gain weight at the time. It was ridiculous how she treated me for no reason. She had the SO I had no one? It was so stupid. Insecure women need help. I even get it from some married women its so stupid

I just think this is so silly, some women get all worked up over a stranger when ................the real problem is they do not trust their MAN!

And 9 times out of 10 the MAN in question nobody else would want and won't stand a chance! :spinning:

They are especially scared of divorced single women. I remember after my divorce and the gossip spread through my kids' school, going to services and suddenly, people I had normally been friendly with weren't so friendly. I let it slide. Then I asked another friend who is divorced and she told me that it's how people are. They are super scared of divorced women because they think we're desperate for their husbands. I'm like, "whuh?" If you saw some of these ladies' husband....
