Yea yea its early but march is ram packed and the PJ in me wants to see whats up for spring.

Shall we begin???

I'll begin:

HITS
Shikkakai:D this stuff leaves my hair so soft and the curls are jus poppin. Definitely a staple. I use the hesh shikkakai and its 2.29 at teh indian grocery!!

Honey in conditioners: Moisture heaven!! Curls poppin!

MISSES

Curls Products. I've tried the spiral curl cream, milkshake and souffle. They did nothing and dried white in parts and my hair felt kinda hard. And they curdle if u put them on top of each other or put gel over them. I been trying with these for months and no success. One thing i did notice is the very small 3c section , its worked well on, so i think these products are not designed for 4a like textures, more like 3c and down, they smell good. I jus gotta find a way to use them up now.

- This is the BEST! No tangles! My hairdresser even noticed the
difference! And my hair has more shine after washing and DC.
Whole Foods ALIVE Vitamin and protein drink
- It has everything most vitamins have but quite a bit more as
well as 16g of protein and it is only ONE SCOOP! No choking
down pills for me any more!

NTM Silk Touch
-I can't for sure say that it was a total miss, but I am not in love

I bought the NTM Silk Touch- it was a bit pricey but, to be honest I was disappointed it didn't really do anything for my hair. I paid $7.29 thinking that it was really going to soften my hair. I know for sure the Dove Anti-frizz cream is great and its half the price and does a better job on my hair.

Hits:

New growth concoction of:
-NTM silk touch leave in
A few drops of:
-Amla oil
-Jasmine oil
-Kemi Oyl
-Tui Hair oil
-WGHO oil
-Doo Gro Stimulating growth oil
Three or four pumps of curl activator

This makes my new growth way manageable!

Misses:

Conditioner washes; just didn't make it soft at all

Dove Sheer Moisture-Leave In Replenishing Mist-Great stuff. It moisturizes and softens my hair very nicely. I use it every night, except for wash days/nights.

Cantu-Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream-I've been wanting to try this stuff for ages. I think it's going to become one of my staple leave-ins. It detangles, moisturizes and softens my hair really well. I used it after my CW on Wednesday and my hair felt and looked amazing on Thursday. (I'm about 2 1/2 months post-texlaxer)

HIT
Motions CPR Headress. Leaves my hair strong, but not brittle

MISS
Hollywood Olive Oil Cream (boooo!) The Castor Oil is good though

Hits: :yay:
Garnier Sleek & Shine Conditioner: I love Garnier conditioners, they're perfect for combing/detangling in the shower. I like how this one has avocado and apricot oil in it.

Aveda Black Malva Conditioner: This stuff is amazing. It provides color and conditioning. Be warned though, be sure to wear gloves while applying, I had to really scrub my hands afterwards to get the stains out. But I love this conditioner, it's perfect for touch ups when my indigo starts to fade and my henna red starts to show through.

Lustrasilk Herbal Liquid conditioner: Nice and thick, felt heavenly slathered on dry hair as a pre-poo.

Dove Sheer Moisture Mist: At first I didn't really see any difference in using this, but it has since kinda grown on me. It's good for a little hit of softness and sprayed roots to re-set before bedtime.

Hits:
Salerm 21 and Lacio Lacio mixed together. Woooooooo, can we say bouncy shiny rollerset

Coconut oil: I love it. Gives shine and isn't tooo heavy. The SO loves it too, lol.

*jotting down the Sleek & Shine conditioner*:look:

I use the Sleek and Shine Leave in and I really like it...so, let me try the conditioner - my hair generally agrees with most things you use.;)

Also, I agree...the Dove Sheer Moisture Mist has grown on me as well. It just snuck up on me and gave me a hair hug...:look:

Go on girl, give it a go! That's so cute about the Dove Mist giving you a hair hug!

I haven't bought any new products recently except for the Frofectiv Mega Growth conditioner in a jar. It is pretty good. That's the only thing I have on my list now.

Okay, I HAVE to get this! I'm gonna start using indigo and henna soon and really want preserve the indigo.

I swear, I'm about to go on a spending spree for Aveda products. With all the reviews I've been reading(the USC, the serum, DR treatment and now this con), I can't resist any longer..lol.

So how did you use these two products? Did you put them into your hair seperately or did you mix them together and then applied the mix to your hair? Or did you mix them together with some water included in the mix? Sorry for the questions but I'm planning to use both products together when I rollerset and want to know the best way to achieve a shiny and bouncy set.

Although I did buy these yesterday, I am going to be wearing them DEEP into April and the coming months.

CON Red Label!!! The green label was a miss for me. It made my hair hard and feel clogged. But the red label is pure LOVE. My hair feels so detangled and soft. The search for a sulfate-less drugstore poo is now over. I am on the lookout for a liter size lol!

HollyWood Beauty Carrot Oil added to Nexxus Keraphix as a pre-poo. I used this once and the Keratin protein in it caused my hair to be soo hard. So I put it away until I could find something better to use it with. I mixed it with my pre-poo and I LOVED it.

Miss:
Not washing my scarf twice a week. My face is so greasy and my forehead is breaking out now.:(

Pantene clarifying poo. Made my hair hard and a tangled knotted mess. I am scared to clarify again. I am going back to V05 kiwi.

Next Stop:
Atone Reconstuctor. I am on a mission to find all BSS staples.:)
