AO Honeysuckle Rose vs. KeraCare Humecto

Ok. Because of this post I ordered the AO Honeysuckle Rose conditioner. I am working out of town this week so I had it delivered to my hotel.

I used it and it made my hair hard like a BRICK!

I don't know what I did wrong but Humecto made my hair soft and silky.

So, I will have to pass on the AOHR.

Wow..I didn't think that was possible for the AO to make your hair feel that way. It makes my hair feel like silk. (And you see in my pic what i started off working with.)

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with it. That's great that Keracare worked for you though. I still think Humecto is a great product, it's just that it's not consistent enough for my hair care habits. AO is always on point and always delivers.

Anyone have any idea where I can get AO in Canada?

Try Loblaws or any health food store.

Dang it! I am off to buy Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle Rose...I am still looking for a GREAT moisturizing DC.

I have them both and I have to admit that out of the two, Aubrey Organics would be my first choice hands down. I bought the Keracare Humecto first but I use my AO HSR far more often than the Humecto. There's just something about the AO HSR that leaves my hair super soft and feeling really good to the touch.

I love Humecto (especially with heat)!

AOHR made my hair feel funny...just didn't work for me.

It didn't work for me either.

i just tried ao hsr yesterday and i am in love. i haven't used the humecto b/c of the ingredients but i can't imagine that it could be better than hsr. i used nexxus aloe rid to clarify, used my normal shampoo (abba pure moisture) and then used the hsr. i left it on for about 5 minutes. i felt the difference immediately and it continued on when it was dry. so excited to have found this conditioner!

Ladies one question? Does the AO Honeysuckle Rose have alot of slip?

I've never tried it. I'm to busy using the Humecto because it not only moisterizes for me but the slip is outta this world!

So if the AO Honeysuckle Rose has slip I will try it but it had better come with it cause Humecto give me incredible slip and makes my hair feel like I just combed a relaxer through it.

I love, love, love the AO Honeysuckle Rose. Best moisturizing conditioner hands down. My hair has never felt so soft and moisturized. I got great slip with it as well. I think that moisturized hair=great slip....so I give the AO Honeysuckle Rose 5 stars!!!

I've been meaning to try AOHSR because although Humecto gives my hair good slip, I am not too happy with the ingredients and I am slowly trying to cut out certain ingredients in my hair products.

I think I'll be getting it... after seeing all the great comments about it.
