Anyone up for a NO TRIM challenge?

I am. :grin:

Before joining LHCF, I would get my ends trimmed after every relaxer. When I left for college, I got my ends trimmed when I visited home on the weekends whether I needed it or not. Since I've joined LHCF, I've become less inclined to trim my ends "just because." Now that I am interested in retaining length, I want to see how long I can go without trimming my ends.

Is anyone up for a 3-6 month No Trim Challenge? We can start in April. I plan on getting my ends trimmed then and will challenge my self to not get them trimmed again until September-October (or sooner, if need be).

FYI: Dusting is allowed in this challenge! (Except for Sereca, lol.)

I am up for it. I have not trimmed my ends since August. Plus I am in bootcamp and you can't trim your ends as part of the challenge.
 
i'm in! i made it a whole year without trimming :yep: although i'll admit i did S&D dusting twice. does that count? :ohwell:
 
I'm in!:grin: I did the lightest dusting EVER for over all healthy ends on March 1st after not trimming since October 2007. Like many of you i'm an "emotional" trimmer..trimming "just because":rolleyes:

I don't plan on trimming until?????.......off to hide & forget about the scissors.

OP...I understand no dusting; but no S&D either?
 
I am totally in! I'll be taking my braids down in time to trim up before the challenge begins. Good luck ladies!
 
I'm in on this challenge! I usually have the stylist trim my ends every time I get a relaxer. She claims it will make my hair grow faster :rolleyes: But now that I am on a quest to grow out my hair, I am going to tell her that she better put those scissors back in her draw!!:angry2:

Can you dust???????? If so then I'm want in.......
 
i wouldve been at my goal by now had it not been for my scissor craze at the end of 07. so im def in! i refuse to cut anymore till i reach my first goal.
 
I want in :grin:. I had a slight trim in January right after the new year and I dont plan to trim again until the end of June.
 
I'm in, my daughter will give me a trim before the challenge starts , then no more dusting for the next 6 months.
