Anyone stayed the same length longer than you thought you would be??

I didn't see much, if any growth between August and November, which delayed APL for me. Seeing the pcs from August to November were very discouraging. I thought I was doing something wrong. But thankfully, it kicked in around December.

I've bee this length forever. Just over shoulder length but I took a hiatus from hair care for a few months so I guess I have to catch up. I'll be happy to get past here though.

I have, but I know the reason for it.

I was lazy and wasn't moisturizing twice a day (sometimes going a whole day with no moisture). I kept putting it in a ponytail to keep from using heat. But I wasn't babying my ends, and caring for my hair in the ponytail. I also slagged on drinking a lot of water. I would drink water but more like 2.5 bottles a day instead of 4+.

Since late February I've been taking alot better care of it, and its showing. Its a little longer, even though I cut it, and it has thickened up considerably. I'm impatient though and would love to see results faster, but I mistreated my hair for the past 14 years, so a year or two to get it healthy is only fair.

My hair stayed the same length most of my life. I just thought my hair couldn't get any longer. But since I stopped relaxing, my hair has grown longer than it's ever been. I can't say it was just the relaxers. I used them four times a year but I used to apply them root to tip each time  which couldn't have been good. However, I changed a lot of things after the b/c, including the way I handled my hair and protective styling. So, I'm not really sure what the culprit was before.

A big Yes!

I hope that my hair has gained some length and is not resting right now. I seem so stuck! My thought was to not pay too much attention to my hair this summer and to get involved in a hobby that would take my mind off of hair for a while and then maybe....maybe by september I can consider my hair MBL. Of course I will continue to take good care of it, but I am trying not to be my normal obsessive self about hair.

I hope to have a good report by then. If not, then I will try to be content with my current achievment.

Your hair is beautiful !!!! :)

im having the SAME issue.
it seems like my hair has not grown the last three months. since beginning lhcf in Jan, my hair seemed to grow like weeks for the first two months and then it seems like i've hit a plateau and it just won't make it to the next stage. OR it could be that i am just impatient, but either way i want BSL and i want it NOW

someone mentioned a saying about watching a pot or something (i forgot it) about how if you wait on something meticulously then it seems like it will never come. I think thats whats going on with me, i don't see any growth because im constantly checking for growth :ohwell:

I have been at a stand still for a few months now. I abused my ends and they left. Im ready to see more growth so I have decided to stop my abusive ways and lock my maxiglide away for a long while.

Same here. I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't been keeping up with the Bootcamp 2007 challenge and straightened it off and on since January. Maxiglide gave me split ends like you wouldn't believe so I had to do a couple of S&D's and it's back in my protective baggie style until September b/c I'm in my brother's wedding. Then it's back to the protective baggie style until December.
