Good. B/c you know people take personal offense when someone with long hair cuts it off. Whew! You had some of us worried, lol.

I take it waay too personally when people cut their hair, aside from the BC. I was so mad at honeycomb when she cut hers, and gave my white SIL the silent treatment when she cut hers....:nono:

But if you decide to do this in the future, I'll be supportive. :yep:
 
If I hadn't already done this in April I would be so with you right now! When I shaved my head I loved it so much, that I did it again in August and plan to do it again when I go on vacation this summer, and probably every summer from here on out.

It really is liberating and reveals beauty you never knew you had:yep:
I don't know, hair never really was that serious to me.....it grows (even after your dead).
I say just go ahead and pull off the band-aid, especially if you're planning to go natural. :drunk:
Make sure you go to someone with some decent shape up skills though.
 
i've been having these urges to cut my hair....go natural......

would i shave it all off???? i dont know....but i'll be honest, i would probably have said MAYBE if you hadnt backed out.....did you???

dont know if i'd like my hair natural though???
 
well i didn't shave, but I did cut off my relaxed ends. Yup I did the BC and it felt so good. I immediately felt "lighter". Great way to bring in the new year
 
If I may be so brash, I would like to inquire as to whether thou hath taken the plunge and shorned thine silken mane? Speaketh, and do not keep us in the realm of suspence! :grin:
 
I have did this at the beginning of each new year(starting with 2004) and this year I have decided to let it grow.....wish me luck ladies.

Going bald is a personal choice. you will be cutting off all the money you have spent on products, and the time that you have invested in taking care of you hair. big ups to you if you decide to do it:spinning::spinning::spinning::spinning::spinning:

But seriously people...thank you sooo much for the support and keeping it real on both sides. You really know how to come through for a sister!

I decided not to do it so I washed my hair today (siggy) and tried to compare it to my length back at the end of October (avatar).

I'm not too impressed by the growth but it looks thicker and healthier actually so I'll take that but...

I think I'm going to do something drastic if I am not APL by June. Honestly I am still craving today for something fresh, hip, youthful, fun, etc. The truth is, I overhauled my wardrobe and I just feel like a makeover physically too. I will be getting back into shape as well and a shaved head SERIOUSLY would help me focus on getting my body back after these two knuckleheads I had.

Oh well...ya'll are too sweet and funny...

WTH.. am I in the right place .. LONG HAIR Care Forum??! :lachen:I seriously thought this was a joke. I don't even believe in folks BC'ing.. counterproductive if you ask me. That being said.. I can't believe somebody would shave their head multiple times.. girl you must be cute... I can only imagine what I would look like with no hair and this big ol round head.
