It really grew A LOT in just 7 months!!

I have a question for you. Did you trim it at all during that time?? If so, how much, and how often?? I'm just amazed at how much growth you got!! I just may have to stop trimming mine so much...

No trims during that time, I just got one the day after Father's Day. Hair type? I'm not 100% sure. 3c/4a..... I guess. It's soft and tightly waved at the roots, it's thick too.
 
Caramela, you've inspired me to dye my hair black. I'm your complexion and I've always wondered would jet black be too dark for me, but seeing your pics has changed my mind.

Cami, I think black hair looks very healthy. Don't dye your hair lighter!

I had thought about going lighter esp. when I see people like J. Lo, Mya, and Ashanti with all those streaks, but then I remember I am not a celebrity so no one will be taking care of my hair 24/7, but me.
And I'd smack myself if I caused my hair undue damage!!!

absolutely beautiful!!! i remember that first pic you took and shared last year that's posted. why do you suppose your hair started to thin out? do you see a difference now in it growing back to that length? it sure did grow fast! you're almost back to the length it was at in november.

I think I had someone else pegged as you. Did you have pictures of your hair in the flexi rod style? I looked at your pictures again and realize I had someone else in mind for you. Your pictures look really good. Your hair looks much thicker than this time last year. You and your hair are pretty.

Ebony, I used to think it had to do w/wearing my hair out everyday and it brushing up against my clothes. Eh

.... I don't know, b/c I wear my hair down a lot these days. I think that it had a lot to do w/doing roller sets using Motions foam .... it made my hair too stiff, and comb outs were murder on my hair. I think that thinned it out b/c I was using that all the time.

Bottom of bra strap is my first goal. i think I'll be there by the end of the year. i don't have real fast growing hair. My hair is probably about the same length or slightly longer than yours now. I'm taking pics (just waiting to finish the film before I post) My ultimate goal is waist length.

I know what you mean about the hair handling. I think at the moment the length is already getting on my nerves. I can't even drink soup properly anymore

Gurl I forgot you were frettin over the big chop. Hair looks wonderful and you didn't take "nary" a vitamin either! LOL Keep up the good work. It looks like you'll be back to midback sooner than you thought.

I agree with Supergirl it is almost where it was at before you cut it..and even thicker (even though it thought your hair was thick before)
It seems like hair grows back so quick after a cut..

Caramela your hair is absolutely gorgeous. You are truly my hair inspiration. Especially because you keep it simple, and I can hang with that.
I have just started getting into makeup (after years of the natural (lazy) look) so you have really got me motivated.
