i'm not sure how i feel about this... lol... it's like a shower cap except it's silver aluminum foil-y. i should have known better since the packaging says it 'prevents breakage' :ohwell: is the fact that it's foil instead of plastic going to give my hair some extra benefits? :look::lachen:

I've wondered the same thing - pls let us know!!! I got some for Christmas that isn't foil (plastic) but claims to be a conditioning cap haven't used it yet though.

i think the foil is supposed to act similar to when u bake with foil on top. It keeps the heat inside.

I've used them before. They work pretty decent. Because it is a foil cap it seems to stay warm without the use of external heat or anything.

I use that to condition as I don't have a hooded dryer and hate hopping out and in the shower. It's better than just a regular plastic cap and lasts longer I feel.

Used something similar from Sally's - Evolve Conditioning Cap. Like it lots. Handy when I don't want to sit under hooded dryer or steamer. Much like Fhrizzball suggests, it works better than regular plastic caps.

I don't know if it prevents damage, but I do wear it to sleep the 3x/wk that I baggy. By morning my hair is soaked and hot as h e double hockey sticks!
