2019 Vitamin Challenge

I hope nail growth and hair growth aren't correlated because my nail growth has been slo-o-w this past month. With that and the continued shedding and I'm starting to side-eye Viviscal. Maybe the hormones are still sorting themselves out after I stopped breastfeeding.

Is anyone taking the NOW brand of MSM powder??? If so, how are you liking it?? I been taking it for a while and can’t say I see any benefits, but then again I’m the type that can’t really see differences. So I was hoping to see if someone else noticed results with that particular MSM. Ima try the Jarrows Formula next as I read nothing but good reviews on it. Anyways, let me know!! TIA!!

So I hadn’t formally joined, but I am doing it now. I had been taking my vitamins faithfully since end of December and I had been following this thread on and off on the side lines. But I been very consistent. Info below:

1. Your current length and the length you hope the vitamins will help you achieve (or other goal that you wish to achieve)

Currently grazing APL, hope to be full BSL or a little below BSL.

2. Any of the vitamins or supplements you're using for the health of your hair (or body in general)

-MSM (right now I’m takin powder form, NOW brand. Gonna switch to jarrows when done).
- collagen
- biotin 5000 mcg (now taking the GNC brand, was taking the NOW brand, but don’t know if I saw extra growth)
-iron (for anemia)
-vitamin C

3.) How long you intend to take the vitamins for

Whole year

I've been taking GNC 1000 and I can't say I see any difference either. Too bad I just reupped. I should have gone with Jarrow.

@Amerie123 and @blackgurll - have you considered Doctor's Best? I just switched to it because my previous brand changed names - so it gave me pause to try a new brand. I prefer the brands that deliver the highest milligram per serving.

Personally, I think MSM is responsible for my breast increasing in size - but it has so many other benefits - I'm sticking with it. If I get to a size DD, E, F, I may have to re-consider.

@Amerie123 and @blackgurll - have you considered Doctor's Best? I just switched to it because my previous brand changed names - so it gave me pause to try a new brand. I prefer the brands that deliver the highest milligram per serving.

I am already at E, so I'm considering laying off the MSM for a while because the girls are quite a pair now, and I don't have time or money to get a whole new wardrobe.

I’ve been consistently taking my 10,000 mcg biotin. My collagen expired, so I’m going to add Beautifully Bamboo to my regimen.

@blackgurll - I certainly do understand. Historically, I've taken mega doses of MSM (as high as 16g daily). Doing so is like being on a Maglev "super boobs" speeding train.

Also, I'm just about done with my zinc. I think I'm going to add collagen, aloe vera and omega 3s to my vitamin regimen.

I've been doing great taking my supplements and this challenge is largely responsible. Every time I see it cross my timeline, it's a great reminder to start popping my pills .

Just placed a re-stock order for Chlorella, Spirulina and Bamboo Extract. Made up vitamin packs for next 2 weeks.

Kept it light yesterday:
1 Viviscal
prenatal
Fish oil
Green Superfood capsule - I need to start taking at least 2 of these daily (for spirulina, chlorella, etc.).
Magnesium


And this morning:
1 Viviscal
1/3 prenatal
Green Superfood capsule
MSM - think I'll do this every other day instead of every day and see if the breastesses mellow out
Fish Oil
Vitamin D

I'll have the second Superfood, viviscal and prenatal later today.

I received my Beautifully Bamboo today and took them immediately. The reviews on Amazon have me anxiously awaiting results. Hopefully by April I’ll see a difference.

I took Beautifully Bamboo for three months with favorable results. Good growth and less shedding. I plan to repurchase when I finish my 3 month supply of manetabolism, 1 month supply of nioxin and one month of mielle organics.

Niceeee side effect!!!! Is yours the powder form too? I’ve read good things about doctors best too. May give that a shot as well. Esp since we talkin bigger boobs . Lol

@bolded - not for all. Depends on your starting point.
Yes I take powder MSM. I take it in a "shot" of orange juice in the morning.

Took my vits this week so far. Had to re-up in Vit C and got a new brand of MSM, so I’ll let y’all know if I notice a difference w brand change.
