I was wondering but wasn't going to say anything. I figured you just got excited.I didn't mean to post my last post yet. It was a draft and somehow it posted. Maybe I left it in the text box too long? Ugh! I'll probably just add more to that post at the end of the month if I come up with anything else.
Lol I know right. When I came in here last night I was like where is my draft? So I scrolled up to quote my old post and start over and saw it posted. Smh I wasn't even finished.I was wondering but wasn't going to say anything. I figured you just got excited.
Bumping these measurements, because I'm doing my length check in a couple weeksI just took measurements to monitor my retention goal each quarter. Starting lengths on left side: 12 inches in front, 11.5 inches on sides and nape, right side is 12 inches in front and 11 inches on the sides. Right nape is 11.5 inches. I will measure again at the end of each quarter.
New blow dryer you say? What kind did you get?I'm doing a moisturizing dc with Oleo Relax mask for 30 minutes. After I rinse I want to try out my new blow dryer.
I received a Groupon notice for those brushes and I think I am going to be led into temptation. Those straightening brushes are tempting me. I will not be led into temptation.

Hmmm... I would like to greatly reduce my single strand knots by 70%. I will measure this by how often I have to trim.
For years, I've stuck to the rule that mineral oil is a no-no. But I've come to realize that it is the best sealant for my strands and if keeps them from tangling and knotting more than anything.
So my regime is simple:
1. Rinse at night in the shower.
2. Seal with the pomade of choice.
3. Two braids over night a la Amel Larrieux to stretch.
The challenge for me will be sticking with it as is because I always love changing things up.
I'm in.
Goals:
1. Perfect halo twist using braiding hair (1st quarter)
2. Protective style at least 2 weeks a month (2nd quarter)
3. Do more roller sets and less wash and go's (3rd quarter)
4. Get middle section of hair to the same state of health as the rest of my hair (4th quarter)
5. Dust ends once per quarter
6. Attempt a new style at least once per quarter
Update us at the end of the month. You still have two weeks to make some stuff happen.I did not accomplish my 1st quarter goal...which is fine because I accomplished my 3rd quarter goal of doing more roller sets and less wash and go's. I also dusted my ends and tried a new way of doing my bun which was a win. But the best thing of all is that I'm making major progress on my 4th quarter goal of getting the middle section of my hair to the same state of health as the rest of my hair. I want to change my goals around for the remainder of the year. I'll post those later.
Girl! I feel the same way . I'm going to loose twist and puffy twist after Easter cuz I don't like to sweat .I'm tired of wearing a wig. It's getting too hot. I think I'll wear my own hair for the rest of the week.
