16 weeks! I'm happy but my relaxed hair is so ugh.
Oh and my ends are horrible looking!
15 weeks post and boy has it been tough. As many have said, detangling has been the biggest frustration and just finding out what products work with my hair. Rollersetting has helped immensely!!! I'm still on the fence though...I'm going back and forth depending on how frustrated I get with my hair. Said I was relaxing on Monday after a DISASTROUS flexirod set (DH started singing Do You Know Where You're Going To when I came out of the bathroom), washed that out and did a roller set tonight which came out bangin, and I feel like I can keep going with the transition...one week at a time I guess
@ bolded. DH was wrong for that. Did you really look like Diana Ross?
but I don't regret my decision and look forward to being 100% natural
.
!! I'm not sure how many weeks post I am because I don't remember when I got my last relaxer. I'm thinking around Dec/Jan/Feb. (and I wondering why my hair was so overprocessed-I didn't even keep up with when I relaxed my hair). I'm still undecided if I will BC or not. I've learned alot of helpful information from LHCF while lurking. I've also implemented some of that information and it has really helped my hair. But my ends were terrible and my hair's very uneven and brittle (severely damaged) so I'm going to a stylist Wednesday to let her access things. She specializes in natural hair care- she's also natural. She comes highly recommend by natural and relaxed friends. I suspect I'll have to get a mini chop Wednesday. We'll see! I'm just glad to be on the journey to healthy hair!!
... I think I'll check in every 4 weeks unless the road gets too bumpy and I'm in dire need of help.
. I have a partial sew in now which seems to be working well ... I wonder... Can I keep it in for 4 weeks ???
