Which site @Prettymetty? Include the web address you use please. Does it only have Kerastase products?

I thought 22 euros would be closer to $40, or maybe I'm thinking about the pound/sterling

Lookfantastic.com they sell makeup, hair care, styling tools, etc. With shipping my total was around $32 usd
 
I went ahead and washed my hair. I used Ion Healthy scalp shampoo. Then I applied Kerastase Densite mask from root to tips making sure to coat every strand. Now I'm wearing a turbie towel over a plastic processing cap. I'll rinse after about 30 minutes.
 
My eating is good. I'm working out 5 days a week. I'm taking my supplements. And I'm trying to stay steady with my vitamins. I'm good with my water. My body is definitely healthier.

I have slacked off a bit on my mid-week water rinses but I'm getting back on them. I hope all of this gets me to my 2".
 
I think I asked this before but did everyone measure their hair. I'll be straightening and trimming sooner for challenge check ins and I have no idea how to tell if I've gained 2 inches. Lol
 
Today was Shampoo Saturday:
  • Pre-poo'd overnight with my AVJ spritz & Duafe Whipped Amla.
  • Applied a mix of ORS DC & Kapur/Kachri ayurvedic powder and went under my heat cap for a little over 1 hour.
  • Shampoo'd with Coco Curls, CW'd my length with Ynobe's Pumpkin Silk & TJ's Tea Tree Tingle, reconstructed with Ion & rinsed out 80% of HE Hello Hydration & ACV rinse.
  • LCOB'd with L = Alikay's Lemongrass, C = HQ Leave In, O = Macadamia Healing on length & Kreyol Essence Chocolate HBCO on edges, B = Liquid Gold's Green Magic on scalp & Cream & Coco's Moonflower on ends.

I didn't measure. I just plan to take pictures and do an estimate. Based on my starting pic, I have an idea where 2" from my starting point hits.
 
I haven't even looked at my hair since my trim in mid-January. But it feels longer when I'm combing it out. For me pictures work the best to compare length because my hair isn't all one length, and if I don't pull on the exact same strands of hair the measurement could be slightly or majorly skewed.
 
While I think I'm due for a dusting, it is now obvious to me that I got at least an inch in the last month. I got my hair colored on Feb 23. There is a little over an inch of new growth (more like an inch and 1/8").

This is awesome news.

That's is fabulous. That is one of the upsides of color. The new growth can be highly visible depending on the color.
 
I only lasted 2 weeks with the braids. I washed them and they tangled.at the root. I didn'teven agitate it that much.

Detangling was a nightmare. I washed my hair and put it in twists. I see tgin products and my hair hates them. Oh well, I'm not washing again till friday, so this will have to do.

I dyed my hair that same day and I only have about 1/2 inch of new growth:cry3:

Tonight, I put HE Totally Twisted Conditioner on my braids, sat under the heat cap for a little over 30 minutes, CW'd and rinsed it out and rinsed out 80% of V05 Strawberry Moisturizing Conditioner.

I sat under a cap dryer on high cool for 1.5 hours and LCOB'd with L = Alikay's Lemongrass, C = KJ Naturals Lemongrass Marshmallow Slip, O = Duafe Naturals Love Me on length, Hydrathermal Naturals Growth on scalp & Kreyol Essence Chocolate HBCO on edges, B = Cream & Coco Moonflower Shimmer on ends.
 
I had a spot in the middle of my head that was almost completely gone. It's been 7 months and that spot right there is a little more the 3.5 inches but not quite 4. Seems I have a normal growth rate after all. Let's see how the rest of my hair has done when I length check.

  • Applied a mix of Mane Choice Green Tea & Carrots and Vatika Dubar Garlic DCs and went under my heat cap for a little over 1 hour.
  • Scalp scrubbed with CC's Natural, CW'd my length with HE Totally Twisted, reconstructed with Ion & rinsed out 80% of HE Hello Hydration & V05 Strawberry & Cream conditioners.
  • LCOB'd with L = LACE Ayurvedic, C = HQ Leave In, O = Macadamia Healing & Duafe Whipped Love Me Amla on length & Kreyol Essence Chocolate HBCO on edges, B = Liquid Gold's Green Magic on scalp & Cream & Coco's Moonflower on ends.
 
I'm doing length checks in my other challenges so going to post in here as well. I will still do a length check in April for this challenge. I blow dried my hair tonight. In April I will just do a curlformer set.

I can definitely see progress so I'm happy.

OMG! @faithVA, Girrrrl, your hurr is doing so well - FINALLY!!! I am so happy for you - :happydance: I celebrate every success right beside you.

Anyhoo. I will be making some hairdrenalin potion later today for my 7 day inversion starting April 1st. I'm starting my exercises and protein shake intake as well to speed up some major hair growth for the next session :yep:. I am trying to get to BSL before the end of the year which is about 4 inches away, plus I'm due for trim next month so make that 5 inches away.
