Hi!!!!

Just a few things I noticed:
How often are clipping your ends regularly? Too often especially if its not necessary could impede your growth

From your photo you appear to be a 4ab with med density and fine/medium strands

If you are wearing a weave you still need to ensure you hair has the proper moisture balance.

Your hair could be dryer in the summer because the sun is drying it out. You might need to change the products you use.

I know for me, the moisturizer I use in the spring/summer differs for the fall/winter.

Aww! Hi dots! Adorable mini twist out! At 17 I was fussing with my parents and stylist because they wouldn't let me go to prom with purple hair lol. Congrats on graduating! What do you plan to do now?

Welcome.
I admire you for deciding to go natural in your teens. I wish i had made that decision back then instead of waiting until my 30's.

So much character, you seem really sweet, Welcome to the family.

Congrats on graduating high school. Have you decided on what you want to do or consider doing career-wise?

Your adorable and your hair matches...HHG

Thanks you two! I am going to attend college in the fall and major in Computer Programming, and later possibly Graphic Design

Hi!!!!

Just a few things I noticed:
How often are clipping your ends regularly? Too often especially if its not necessary could impede your growth Yea, I know that too. I basically just clip them whenever they get damaged to the point of no return. One time they were damaged and I ignored it, expecting multiple treatments and creams to help, but they only became worse and went farther up the shaft. I ended up having to cut off 1+ inch off around my whole head. To avoid that in the future, I've decided to cut my hair at the first sign of it being reeeeally damaged. Usually that's when the ends can no longer hold moisture and always feel dry and rough no matter what I do.

From your photo you appear to be a 4ab with med density and fine/medium strands That sounds about right. The circumference 4a and the crown is more 4b

If you are wearing a weave you still need to ensure you hair has the proper moisture balance. I've learned that too (you ladies have taught me so much and you don't even know it ;D) I'm using the C&G method to moisturize my braids beneath my sew-in. Basically Using Infusium 23 Leave-In and African Pride braid spray every morning.

Your hair could be dryer in the summer because the sun is drying it out. You might need to change the products you use.

I know for me, the moisturizer I use in the spring/summer differs for the fall/winter. I thought that that might be a problem, I just have no idea what to use! I heard some of you guys use glycerine, so I tried braid spray and a few other things but the sun still managed to dry out my hair. So far my hair only stays moisturized in braids.
