Lurker FINALLY coming out of hiding

Hey y'all. I have been a lurker since May 07 & finally paid some time at the beginning of this month (I didn't post for the first time til tonight though, lol). I just wanted to thank everyone for the hair care tips. My hair has thrived since finding this board. Ever since my mama gave me my first relaxer at age 8 my hair has hovered around neck/ shoulder length. During high school and college I caused so much damage to my hair by overprocessing and using way too much heat. I am excited that my hair is now APL b/c I never imagined it could grow this long. Thanks ladies!

Yep, I kept it relaxed the whole time but I started stretching for 12 weeks at a time. this past time i stretched for 16 weeks but i think i'm going to stick with 12 weeks from here on out.
