I do believe that I have my hair balanced between moisture and protein! Yay!!!! I haven't had to moisturize for 4 days and my hair is still moist. I've just made sure to moisturize my edges and nape nightly and wrap with my silk scarf . Its a beautiful thing I tell you!

Good for you :yep: I can't wait for the day when I figure out how to get my hair balanced. Now let's hear that regimen! :sekret:

What did you do to get the balance?

Sorry so long to respond. They keep interupting me wanting me to do stuff at work! Ok I've been using pretty much all of elasta qp products. My midweek wash is with the cream conditioning shampoo and fortifying conditioner w honey, evoo, aloe juice, rose mary and lavendar eo. The weekend I prepoo with he hello hydration w jojoba, vatika, garlic infused evoo, molasses, shampoo with the scalp stimulating shampoo and deep condition for 30 minutes w heat with the fortifying conditioner w the same additions above and I added cinnamon to it for the first time last week and a cool acv rinse and I haven't had to moisturize since! I've done this particular regimen twice. I have given some more expensive shampoos away because my hair would be dry and tangled. The elasta qp has worked wonderfully. I am 8 weeks post tomorrow and was thinking of relaxing. If my hair stays in this condition I may try to stretch to 10 or 12! Sorry I've also been using the qp h20 leave-in and profectiv anti-break oil sheen.

I also forgot to add that I stopped oiling my scalp. Trying everything that I read worked for other people didn't work for me. I researched each of these additives that I add to my conditioners and they seem to work for the problems I was having with my hair and scalp so I tried them. I also plan on adding ylang ylang eo to my mixture because it is believed to thicken strands and keep ends hydrated. This link gives a lot of details on eo. I also use the clary sage or clove bud from time to time. http://www.anandaapothecary.com/articles/hair-growth-essential-oils.html
