looks great!!

sorry i'm confused on what is the trick

it's storing the roller caps inside of the roller?

if so, I never saw that on Marcheiamours DVD b/c she used pins

OK, I'm biting the bait too! Can you explain a little more about this snap-on piece going inside the roller??? How does that work, and do you roll the hair upward? I'm confused, and I bought Macheriamour's DVD. :look:I thought I had learned a little bit, but obviously, I need to revisit it. Your hair turned out so pretty!!! Love it!

I rolled down.

I use the 1'' or larger snap on magnetic rollers (purple and yellow ones) with the caps that hold the roller in place.

I store the caps inside the cylinder of the roller so that that they become contracted and when you place the cap on the roller it holds really tight at the roots of your hair.

When your hair dries you have significantly straighter roots.

HTH

Wow, that's a really neat idea worth trying to getting straighter roots! I'm gonna get me some snap on magnetic rollers and give this a try...Thanks for that little trick, Mrs BHF!:drunk:

Your hair is to dye for!

When I was completely relaxed, rollersetting was a staple in my weekly hair regimen. I miss it so much! You are going to make me pull out the rollers and try again. If I could do a rollerset as a natural, I would soooo be in heaven!

Thanks for sharing.

wow your hair is soooo pretty!!! makes me wish i paid attentions when my mom used to roller set my hair :( i cant roller set to save my life and i miss it

i save money anyway cause i just run around a curly mess :D lol but i love roller sets, and if i could just figure out how to do it i would probably wear my hair straight more often. last time i tried, my arm cramped and i had trouble keeping the hair on the roller as i rolled towards the scalp. like it would fall off the sides. i dont know if i'm making the sections too big or if its technique lol

Your wash and go picture is gorgeous! Do you texlax? When I used to relax my hair I never got one curl, that's just gorgeous.

BTW do you have to flatiron your front edges?

Thanks for the bump, but the thread's kinda useless since OP deleted all her posts. I never get why people do that.

I dont think i meant to bump this i actually dont remember reading this thread.. i was trying to bump another thread actually...lol

Thanks Nonie. I did see that post but just like Barbie83, I would have liked to have seen the pics also. I know that I can get REALLY straight roots using curlformers. Just wanted to see OP's.
