I think if I dried my hair in lke 12-15 tight braids it would be a great low mani no direct heat first step in straightening. That stretches my roots wonderfully

Yep, she is right, my siggy pic is the result of a rollerset on 12 month post relaxer and no flat ironing of the roots. They really work with the right product. I used mesh rollers for my set.

Yeah this trick works for 4's too, I learned this trick from Macherieamour's rollersetting dvd. I've done it that way ever since. I NEVER do anything to my roots when I rollerset, even when I'm deep in a relaxer stretch. Always looks on point and has nice volume.
