Here are some puffs done on tangled and need-to-wash hair.

Trying to show her that natural hair is beautiful and that there are a ton of styles you can do with it. Needed something quick and painless.

Done with water, IonTherapy smoothing treatment, a brush and comb to pick out the hair :perplexed. Hair was freshly out of cornrows.

Here ya go ladies.........Will be sharing the feedback with her for encouragement!

It looks nice! Its so even and healthy!

My hair has never looked that nice out of cornrows, it was always a dry and stank mess!

How old is she?

Those are some BEAUTIFUL puff pics! :wow: She could also adorn that princess hair with some hair candy: sparkly things that glitter or flowers or things that match her outfit, etc.

She could rock two low ones in the back and adorn with hair candy as well!!

JUST BEAUTIFUL!!! Good job, MOM!!

WELLLLLLL....I'm not mom I'd be 'almost step mom' (sensitive issue which is why I could do my whole 'ceremony' wash, dc etc. Don't wanna get real mom upset! I digress.

She's so happy about the feedback and I told her about the 'candy' FindingMe! She's all excited now lol Oh man, mom's gonna get pissed. Especially since I 'suggested' that mom could wash, detangle and do the same style and put candy in it for camp tomorrow.

Thank you ladies!

Wow, that's beautifully thick puff!

Fine 4's, you're the perfect soon to be almost step-mom for her to get encouragement from! Everytime I get discouraged, I look at the thread when you revealed your 2.5 year mark :yep:. So by the time she's a TEENAGER, she can have beautifully thick and long hair like yours!!

Gorgeous hair!

OP, since it sounds like she's very active maybe you could try doing some twists or plaits on her hair. That would be easy for her to take care of when she's not with you.

I wear my hair like that nearly every day, and mine rarely looks THAT good! I hope she loves it. I think it looks great.

I personally like that as a simple and easy style to do...with her being 10 yrs old, the style is very doable. She can dress it up by using pretty scarves as well. This is great what you're doing for her, we all need a little encouragement.
